Dear Westview families, The upcoming 2021-2022 school year will mark 40 years of The Westview School. Westview has a long history of being a place where students can dream big for a bright future. Thus, our 2021-2022 school year theme was born. Westview began in 1981 with a really big dream in the heart of our founder, Jane Stewart. Mrs. Jane saw a need to offer excellent educational opportunities for children on the autism spectrum that would set them up for future successes. The Summer issue of the Wildcat Chronicle will take a look at The Westview School - celebrating our history, highlighting some of our present achievements, and sharing a look to our future. Every member of the Westview community, teachers, staff, students, and families, past and present, has played a significant role in making Westview what it is today. Many individuals comprise the strong community united in a singular goal to ensure our students have the knowledge and skills they need to accomplish their goals. I am delighted to be part of this success and am looking forward to leading our school into the next phase by supporting and expanding on the big dreams of our founders and looking ahead to an even brighter future for our Westview community.
