Topologies of Air weaves together voices of many people – lawyers, archeologists, astronomers, space scientists, engineers, psychologists, curators, artists, architects – who contributed to Airspace Tribunals and Sky Forums that formed the central element of production of Shona Illingworth’s immersive sound and video installation under the same title, commissioned by The Wapping Project in 2017.
The publication includes an interview with the artist and a reflection piece by Professor Nick Grief, barrister at Doughty Street Chambers, Shona’s key collaborator on the project.
