Wanaka Art Auction
Wanaka Preschool will be hosting its 15th annual Wanaka Art Auction at The Venue on Friday 14 September. They have added viewing on the afternoon prior to the event and the afternoon of the event to allow interested buyers the opportunity to have a good look at the art. This is for ticket holders only. Viewing, drinks and canapes will begin at 6.00pm on the 14th with the live auction commencing at 7.30pm. A silent auction will run concurrently with the live auction. There will be over 100 pieces of art for sale including paintings, photography, glass, jewellery, ceramics and sculpture from Central Otago and national artists. Local artist Lani Martin is the feature artist with her piece “Loved”.

WINNERS OF RANZ ROOFING EXCELLENCE AWARD
National artists Ben Reid, Mehrdad Tahan, Kym Beaton, Hope Gibbons, Simon Morrison-Deaker, Anna Reid and many more will feature. Tickets can be purchased from Wanaka Preschool or the Wonder Room for $25 ahead of time or $30 at the door. Tables of 10 can be purchased by ringing the Preschool on 443 7090.
