35 Helwick St, Wanaka
This year the Cancer Society is celebrating 25 years of Daffodil Day. The annual one day nationwide appeal will be held on Friday the 28th August 2015. Volunteers are being sought to help out this year in a variety of ways for Daffodil Day. To gift an hour of your valuable time, manning one of the six stalls around the Wanaka township. By being a busy-bee * Support Person * for the day... or, by helping wrap & distribute the gorgeous daffodil blooms that have been pre-sold. The Pre-selling of Daffodils will commence shortly... a lovely idea to brighten up the office, or as a gift for someone. Bunches of 10, 20
or 40 blooms may be ordered, and your donation by this method is a tremendous support to the Cancer Society, who are not subsidised by the Government in any way, therefore all donations are most gratefully received. Wanaka has truly proved time and again what a strong community spirit it possesses, whereby everyone comes together to enjoy Daffodil Day and make it very special.
