Wanaka Upper Clutha Lions are once again selling their very popular Christmas Cakes.

We are lucky enough to be able to keep the same price as last year $25 which is a great rate. No more buying the fruit, soaking the fruit and then remembering to bake it all. It is all done for you by Couplands Bakeries and we get to help in the community.

These cakes are great gifts for staff, friends or people on their own.

Wanaka Primary School Twilight Fair

Wanaka Primary School is excited to host its inaugural Twilight Fair on Saturday, 15 November, from 3.00 - 7.00pm at 7 Ironside Drive.

This relaxed community event is open to everyone and will feature live music, food trucks, and fun for all ages.

Highlights include stalls, bouncy castles, Santa’s Grotto and even the chance to dunk a teacher! Visitors can browse second-hand treasures, pick up seedlings, organise school uniforms and enjoy delicious food. There will also be face painting, karaoke, nail art, a re engine visit, rogaine, book fair and school garden tours.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together,” said a PTA spokesperson. “We hope families will come along, support local businesses and enjoy a fun afternoon celebrating our school.”

Entry is free, but Fair Money tokens can be purchased from the school o ce in advance or at the event. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or scooter as parking will be limited. In case of rain, a condensed version of the fair will be held in the school hall.
