We are proud to announce that The U.C Community Christmas Trust is in its third year of a very successful Santa’s Grotto. It was the brain child of a small group of like-minded people who wanted to share their love of Christmas with the community and also help the surrounding communities like Makarora, Hawea, Albert Town, Luggate & Cardrona, create a more festive atmosphere.

Without the support of our local businesses and volunteers, this community event would not happen, especially to the high standard it does, so we thank you all. We have tweaked a few things this year to make the “waiting” to see Santa a little easier on the kids (and parents).
We are also excited to announce that Jolly EarthWorks have joined our team and will be our naming sponsor for the next 3 years, we will now be known as Jolly Santa’s Grotto. These are very exciting times for us!
We would also like to thank the Rotary Wanaka for their kind donation of $1000 that went toward the purchase of 20 Christmas Trees for the business tree decorating competition.
