"The Wanaka Basketball club is turning a new leaf with fresh faces at the helm, with the goal of developing the sport throughout all age groups in the Upper Clutha area. Currently in Wanaka there are 3 levels of basketball. Adults, Secondary school basketball and Mini-ball. Over the years the club has managed to operate the senior competition with increased costs and less registered teams, and we need your help to encourage more players to join and play basketball and turn that trend around. Our major costs are currently the venue hire and the referee costs which we need to provide for the
games to operate at an acceptable level. Along with the development of the club we are looking at building the sport in Wanaka and this is where we would like your help as a sponsor. The complete package will help subsidise the cost of referees and venue hire to ensure a high level of adjudication and support for both the senior and mini-ball competitions.
