Two of Wanaka’s most loved charities are once again set to benefit from the kindness of others following the announcement the annual Gathering of Geezers Charitable dinner will once again take place at Wanaka’s Warbirds & Wheels museum. The ‘Geezers’ event brings New Zealand motorsport legends together with enthusiasts for an evening of celebration and to raise money for the Warbirds Over Wanaka Community Trust and the Upper Clutha Children’s Medical Trust. The last two Geezer events have raised over $60,000 for the Trusts which enables them to continue the amazing work that each of them does. Held Thursday 12th November 2015 at Warbirds & Wheels, the event includes a three course dinner including beverages with corporate tables and individual tickets available. Each corporate table is ‘hosted’ by a Geezer and a number of
Geezers will take to the stage to regale the audience with tales of great life changing moments from their careers. Grab a group of friends, or reward your team with an evening of fun, all in the name of motorsport and charity and buy a table or ticket to support the event. Alternatively you could donate a worthwhile prize package to be auctioned on the night, with all proceeds going to the Warbirds Over Wanaka Community Trust and the Upper Clutha Children’s Medical Trust.
