SATURDAY 26 MAY 2.00PM – 5.00PM

Anna Laming and Jane Sharman are delighted to be hosting another Pink Ribbon event this May, raising vital funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. Last year they ran a very successful Pink Ribbon Breakfast and wanted to repeat the buzz, but with a slightly different angle – and so have opted for a high tea. “We were so happy to be able to donate over $2,000 to the Breast Cancer Foundation from our breakfast last year and we know we can repeat this and give ladies in our community a fun afternoon at the same time!”, says Anna. “We are so grateful to Peak Functions who are supporting us again by providing their beautiful venue and we’re very excited to have Stir Tea on board to supply delicious tea to accompany the afternoon tea treats”. The line-up includes a fashion segment from local stylist Trudie Millar and guest speaker Emma Conyngham who will share her breast cancer journey and the unique business ‘Nice Nips’ she has created

following her experiences. Local musician Anna van Riel will also be performing a couple of her beautiful songs. “The event is all about celebrating women in our community – supporting those with a breast cancer story, and encouraging women to feel good, look after their bodies and enjoy themselves”, Jane says. “Don’t forget to wear an element of pink! We loved seeing all the different shades last year, it really adds to the fun atmosphere.” The Pink Ribbon High Tea is on Saturday 26 May from 2.00pm–5.00pm at Peak Function Centre. You must pre-book: contact anna.jane.wanaka@gmail.com or find on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ events/358723057955814/ Tickets are $50, of which at least $20 will go directly to the BCFNZ and includes your afternoon tea, refreshments, entertainment and a chance to win some great prizes.
