Are you looking for contemporary local artwork? Fourteen Wanaka Arts members are heading to the A&P Show this week on 13 & 14 March and will be showcasing their sculptures, jewellery, photography, prints and paintings. With a large 9 metre2 tent centrally located at N3 near the food court on the McDougall Street entrance, they’ll be easily found with the yellow Wanaka Arts exhibition flags flying. The beauty of this A&P show exhibition is the opportunity to get up close to some incredible local art, mingle with the artists and talk with them about their inspiration, techniques and chosen styles. Some will be demonstrating their talent throughout the 2-day event.
The artists are: Jo Nimmo (painter), Margaret Hamilton (painter), Jenny Hill (mixed media), Scott Johnson (sculptor), Susie Ruddenklau (painter), Jane Sinclair (painter), Deb Ballantyne (painter), Dean Harliwich (mixed media/photographer), Lin Tempest (painter), Freda Ryder (painter), Jill Gardiner (photographer), Rob Norman (photographer), Anna Thompson (jeweller) and Liz Hawker (printmaker). The artists will be on site Friday and Saturday from 8.30am–5.00pm.
