As most people are well aware, there was a large fire in the Glendhu Bay area. We know the cause of the fire. Make sure you are careful cooking and use NO naked flames or smoking in the outdoors where the ground is tinder dry. A fire doesn’t take much to start and gets out of control very quickly.

MY COMMUNITY NEWS Wanaka RDA is looking for volunteers caregivers, and school staff to come along and watch the riders complete an obstacle course and special games. We are looking to fill 2 new small roles, an Events Coordinator (1 hour per fortnight) and a Weekly Scheduler (1-2 hours per week, Term 1 and 4 only).
Wanaka RDA is entirely run by volunteers. We had around 22 volunteers and provide riding as a therapy to around 20 of our Wanaka community. In December we held our Christmas breakup, which was a chance for parents,
