Aspiring Quilters are having a day sewing Charity Quilts on Saturday, 25 February, at the Hub, 10.00am - 4.00pm. The club are inviting members of the public to come along and help sew some quilts. If you can, you are asked to bring along your sewing machine. Fabric and thread will be provided.

My Book Bag is a hand-picked selection of ten books, just let us know your tastes and we will personally curate a bag for you. We also have a delivery service for My Book Bag to community members with mobility, transport or health problems which make getting to the library di cult. Aspiring Quilters applied for ‘Connecting Community Funds’ in July 2022 and were successful with their application. The funding received has enabled the club to buy fabric and batting to make charity quilts, that go to Plunket and Upper Clutha Hospice.

Committee members have spent time cutting fabric ready to be sewn on 25 February.
