illowridge Wanakafest kicks off with Passion For Fashion next Wednesday. Over the week there will be Juggling, Skate Jams, Circus, Music, Icy Dips, Wine, Beer, Food...and more! There is something for everyone at this year’s festival!

There are loads of great events to get involved in and tons of prizes up for grabs! There is the battle for the best Float Trophy in the Stonewood Homes Street Parade. The winner of this year’s Lone Star Movie Fest is up for a Welli-wood weekend. This year’s Ray White Radio Wanaka Polar Plunge

has a $500 prize pool. There are tons of great prizes for our BIG little Family Duathlon and every participant in the Wanaka Veterinary Centre Pet parade wins a prize!

Occasionally I feel like a stuck record, endlessly repeating myself, saying the same thing over and over. To remind those who did not hear the first time; Did you know it is dangerous, illegal and all out stupid to drink and drive? Yet, another three people were prosecuted for this offence and will lose their licences.
