SNOW TO THE KIDS 2011
T
he Snowdrifta crew are bringing snowy smiles and excitement to the pre-schools around Wanaka. Snow to the Kids is in its 4th year and will be visiting six pre-schools in the area over the coming weeks. The team build a small snow hill at each pre-school and the kids are provided with mini skis and snowboards. They then enjoy a valuable time playing in their own and familiar environment, sliding, learning and laughing in the snow. Snow to the Kids is run through sponsorship and community support
which keeps it free for the kids! You can help support the programme by entering our raffle. Tickets are available from Paper Plus and Mitre 10 or keep an eye out for the Snowdrifta Crew and friends selling them around town. There are 25 prizes, all vouchers kindly donated by local businesses. The raffle will be drawn on August 29th.
