Orlando’s

Coffee culture

Curated by Grace Torres

Lobos Coffee Roasters $$

New to the Orlando coffee scene, Lobos Coffee shop has a diverse coffee menu accompanied by a great selection of snacks. If you’re looking for a modern coffee shop with a minimalist aesthetic that closes late, Lobos is your spot! I highly recommend their Facil Tigre for an afternoon pick-me-up.

Dunkin Donuts $

It’s no coincidence that their slogan is “America Runs on Dunkin”, because it does! Dunkin is reliably satisfying and especially perfect when you’re on-the-go and trying to stick to your budget. Not to mention, a chocolate cake donut from Dunkin always hits the spot!

Vanessa’s Coffee Shop $$

Are you in the mood for more than just a cup of coffee? If so, Vanessa’s Coffee Shop is the place to go. This Christian-owned coffee shop serves a smooth and sweet Café con Leche, and if you’re hungry, their sandwiches don’t disappoint!

Foxtail $$

Not a stranger to our coffee guide, Foxtail now has over 15 locations in the Central Florida area. Every shop has a distinct atmosphere, however, you can always count on there being plenty of space whether you’re looking to have a good conversation or a quiet place to study. The coffee is good and all of the shops have a selection of snacks. Foxtail knows their community well and has added to their menu an Iced Cafe con Leche that is exquisite (and that’s coming from me, a Puerto Rican coffee connoisseur)!

Lineage $$

Are you looking for a place where the aesthetic and coffee are superb? Head over to Lineage Coffee Shop. Their new location near UCF is ample and perfect for an afternoon study session. Their coffee selection is masterfully curated. However, if you’re a tea lover, be sure to try their housemade chai - it’s scrumptious!

The Salty Donut $$

You might know The Salty Donut for its irresistible brioche donuts; however, this Miami import makes a mean cup of coffee! The space is great for both studying and hanging out. Perhaps you want to read a good book in one of their lawn chairs on a weekday afternoon. Either way, The Salty Donut has a great coffee menu to accompany their donut selection. Be sure to check out their Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte!
