After being selected to take part in the Jane Goodall Institute’s Roots and Shoots program in October, six E.L Crossley students are embracing the opportunity to create change in their community. According to JGI, the program “empowers youth to be active global citizens who are able to critically examine environmental and social issues and then create long-term solutions in their own communities.” Six students and one teacher from E.L. Crossley Secondary School were selected to take part in the Jane Goodall Institute’s Roots and Shoots program.
