Coyotes Growing Bolder in Pelham by ZACH JUNKIN The VOICE
Lynn Philbrick of North Pelham is no stranger to the outdoors. Living on her farm in North Pelham, Lynn deals with livestock and other critters on a daily basis. These days, however, the critters are getting a little too close for comfort. Lyn has been noticing the coyotes getting a little more numerous- and a lot more bold- for a while now, but things came to a head last week when three of the animals confronted her and her dog out front of her barn. “I was getting pails of water, and I was coming out and I looked down at my horse and saw her all puffed up at the back door,” recalled Lynn. “I thought ‘ok, my dog is loose out front’ so I came to see where he was and it was like ‘oh my god! Here’s my dog, and I have a huge coyote facing him’.
