The popular ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has made its way into Pelham and it’s all for a good cause. Tina Moessner, owner and funeral director at James L. Pedlar Funeral Home, witnessed challenges on social media and decided to participate. “I told the other staff about the challenge and they were instantly on board with the idea of doing it in the memory of Bradley Watt,” Moessner said. Watt was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 21. He survived another 20 years before ALS ended his life. “He was such a brave person. He never once said ‘why me’ or complained about his situation,” she said. “So many families we serve take a piece of us but this one really got to us.” ALS Fundraiser (See Page 2)
