Getting in shape has never been so educational. Glynn A. Green Elementary School students began working out at Fonthill Fitness three years ago after teacher Stuart MacPherson decided to take an extra step in preventing obesity amongst youth. “I thought it would be

the perfect opportunity to make that community connection with our school,” MacPherson said. “Getting them out of their chairs for an hour is invaluable.” The Grade 8 students spend time working on strength and conditioning, but also get introduced to new forms of fitness.
