Another very successful McHappy Day!

MAYOR Dave Augustyn, who referred to himself as “Mayor McCheese”, served at the drive thru window of the Fonthill McDonalds on Wednesday, May 2 to help out with McHappy Day. Paul Owen, president of Pelham Cares, sells a paper boot to Rose and Don Wallace as part of McHappy Day fundraising. Throughout the day $1 from every McHappy Meal, Big Mac, or coffee was donated to Ronald McDonald House charities to support families of children hospitalized out of their hometowns. The Fonthill location raised more than $3,700 through food sales, boot and wristband sales, a penny raffle and sales of hanging plants. Sarah Murrell/Voice Photos
