The Silent Love Killer In the early stages of love, couples often enjoy the warmth of affection, engage in deep conversations, and share their vulnerabilities.

However, over time, unresolved conflicts and poor communication habits can weaken the emotional bond. One of the most damaging of these habits is passive-aggressive behavior, a subtle yet destructive force that undermines trust and intimacy.

Passive-aggressive behavior involves subtly expressing negative feelings instead of directly confronting them.

It can show up as sarcasm, the “silent treatment,” subtle digs, procrastination, or “forgetting” important things as a form of retaliation. While it might seem like a safer choice than direct confrontation, it ultimately creates resentment, confusion, and emotional distance.

To illustrate this behavior, think of Sarah and Jake, who have been married for five years. Sarah often felt like Jake wasn’t contributing enough around the house. Instead of directly confronting him, she would sigh loudly while doing chores and make sarcastic comments like, “Wow, it’s so nice to be everyone’s maid,” or “I guess the trash takes itself out now.” Jake, unsure of what he had done wrong, would either fall silent or stay late at work to avoid the tension at home.

This unspoken tension grew. When Sarah’s birthday arrived and Jake gave her a last-minute gift card, she smiled through clenched teeth and said, “Thanks, I can see how much thought you put into this.” Instead of addressing her disappointment, she used politeness as a weapon, another classic passive-aggressive move. The pattern became toxic: both felt unappreciated, unheard, and unloved. The challenge with passive-aggressive behavior is that it creates a situation where the words and actions don’t match. One partner says, “I’m fine,” while slamming cabinet doors or withholding affection. The other partner feels emotionally manipulated or gaslit, unsure whether to believe the words or the behavior. This misalignment leads to distrust and emotional withdrawal, key ingredients in the breakdown of intimacy.

Unlike healthy conflict resolution, where concerns are voiced with respect and clarity, passive-aggressive behavior avoids resolution altogether.

It pushes issues under the rug, allowing anger to fester and intimacy to rot. It’s a slow poison, damaging a relationship not through explosions of rage,

but through a steady drip of disappointment and disconnection. To break free from this cycle, both partners must commit to honest, direct communication. That involves clearly expressing feelings, such as “I feel overwhelmed when I do most of the housework alone,” and asking for what you need, like “Can we split the chores differently?” Emotional maturity and vulnerability are essential for maintaining love. Healthy people ask for what they need. I have said this repeatedly in my marriage and in my classes. The other day, my husband told me that there must be something else that was causing me to get

so angry. I looked in his eyes and said, “Darling, have you ever known me to withhold the reasons for my anger?”

He laughed out loud, saying, “Nope.” To keep the air free from toxicity, express what you need, what you expect, and how you feel disappointed.

Don’t make your partner guess or be a mind reader.

Remember, Intimacy thrives in environments where trust and openness prevail. It dies in the shadows of unspoken anger and masked resentment.

Ultimately, relationships are not destroyed by what is said, but by what is left unsaid and unresolved. If love is a garden, passive-aggressiveness is the silent frost that kills it from the roots up. Don’t let it steal your connection with your important relationships. St. Patrick Day has become a national celebration honoring an Irish Saint. The story goes that he chased the snakes out of Ireland. He was supposedly captured by the Romans and taken to Rome. But, somehow he survived, and made it back to the old sod and the history books.

The Irish played a huge role in Colorado because they were the primary working-class when railroads, mining, and agriculture emerged in the new Colorado territory. The gold rush began in Central City in 1859 at Gregory Gulch.

20,000 miners rushed to Colorado and then to Cripple Creek and Leadville.

Millions of Irish, who could afford a few pounds, fled the widespread Irish starvation that was occurring in the 1840s, 50s and 60s.

The proud British empire

owned most of the land in Ireland and poverty was widespread with famine.

There was no love lost with the English landlords and there were religious issues as well, Ireland being a widespread Catholic country. The story goes that when the Spanish Armada attempted to attack England their ships were sunk, and potatoes washed up on the empire shores. These potatoes eventually helped ease the starvation in Ireland.

A large work force of Irish, largely men, arrived in America. Many were enlisted off the boats to fight for the Northern army in the 1860s. Thousands of Irish died in the civil war. The rest spread out across the new land and there were so many Irish seeking work in Boston they put signs in the windows NINA, meaning “No Irish Need Apply.” The

Irish were the vast minority and the work force for the new land, welcome or not.

My own grandfather, Patrick Sweeney, was one of those young men who arrived at New York Harbor in 1865 at the age of 19. He won five pounds in a plowboy contest in County Cork, Ireland and left his four brothers and parents to sail to America, never to return to Ireland.

A plowboy was judged on how deep and close the furrows were with a plow pulled by a horse. Because of his ability with horses, he worked his way west driving teams of horses to construct the railroads. My daughter Susan and husband Mike, purchased a sculpture called “The Plough Boy” in Vail by the popular late artist, Walt Horton, not knowing our early history at the time.

Because so many Irish arrived in America with the opening of the West, they

became homesteaders, miners, and common laborers.

There is a story about John Mullen who arrived in Denver penniless and applied at a flour mill for employment and was told, “No job.” He said he would work for free, so they put him to work and years later he owned the Hungarian Flour Mill and made a fortune. He left his mark in Denver as a great philanthropist with the Mullen name revered in Colorado history.

There are many famous and well-known Irish men and women in Colorado history and an estimated 300,000 people of Irish ancestry in the state.

Ireland is a beautiful country with deep green rolling hills. Home to many high-tech firms and famous for lamb stews and puddings.

They say the Irish would rule the world if it wasn’t for whiskey.

Oliver’s Italian debuts Artisan Charcuterie Program, bringing the Spirit of La Dolce Vita to Greenwood Village Shucking Good Hospitality’s Italian Flagship Adds a Curated Selection of Meats, Cheeses, and Coastal Oysters Oliver’s Italian, the elevated Italian-American dining destination from Shucking Good Hospitality (SGH), has launched a new artisan charcuterie program designed for sharing around the table.

Available now at the Greenwood Village restaurant, Oliver’s Charcuterie Board invites guests to mix and match from a hand-selected roster of imported meats, rare cheeses, and fresh oysters, all curated to reflect the restaurant’s East Coast Italian identity.

The program features six distinctive meats, including Finocchiona, Soppressata Calabrese, spreadable ‘Nduja, 24-Month Prosciutto di Parma, marbled Coppa, and silky Liver Pâté. Cherry Hills Village Physician Named to EPA Scientific Advisory Committee

Local retina surgeon to advise EPA on national air quality standards Dr. Brian C. Joondeph, a Cherry Hills Village physician and retina surgeon, has been appointed to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC), a federal panel that provides independent scientific advice on national air quality standards.

The appointment was announced March 9 by EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin as part of the agency’s selection of a new panel of experts who will advise the EPA on the scientific and technical basis for federal air quality regulations. CASAC includes experts from a range of scientific disciplines, including medicine and public health, reflecting the committee’s role in evaluating how air quality standards affect human health.

“I am honored and humbled to be selected and grateful for the opportunity to serve,” Joondeph said.

“Giving back through service—whether in medicine, church mission work, or public policy—has always been important to me.”

Joondeph completed his training as a retina surgeon in 1990 and has worked in both academic medicine and private practice. He graduated from Cornell University and Northwestern University Medical School, completed his ophthalmology residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear

Infirmary, and pursued a retina fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

He moved to the Denver area in 2003 after serving in an academic ophthalmology position in Auckland, New Zealand.

Joondeph is now a partner in a national retina specialty practice based in the Denver area.

In addition to his clinical work, Joondeph has authored more than 95 scientific publications and has written extensively on medical and public policy topics in national publications. He has also served as an investigator in multiple clinical trials and holds a master’s degree in healthcare leadership from the University of Denver.

The Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee was established under the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1977 to provide independent expert advice to the EPA Administrator on the scientific basis for national air quality standards.

Close to 13,000 Coloradans turn out for 2026 Democratic caucuses, nearly doubling turnout from recent caucuses Approximately 13,000 Coloradans participated in Democratic precinct caucuses across the state last week, nearly doubling participation compared to recent election cycles and demonstrating strong grassroots engagement as the party builds momentum toward its State Assembly in Pueblo on March 28.

The turnout represents a significant increase from recent caucus cycles, when approximately 6,390 Democrats participated in 2022 and 6,799 participated in 2024. These results are preliminary, with some counties still finalizing their totals.

Precinct caucuses are the first step in the Democratic Party’s candidate nominating process. At caucuses, local

Democrats meet in their communities to elect precinct organizers and delegates who will represent their neighborhoods at county assemblies and help determine which candidates advance toward the primary ballot. The infrastructure of the Party is built at caucuses in even years and at reorganizations in odd years.

“Thousands of Coloradans showed up to caucus because they believe in grassroots democracy and building a stronger Colorado,” said Colorado Democratic Party Chair Shad Murib. “That energy is carrying forward into county assemblies across the state and will be on full display when

Democrats from every corner of Colorado gather in Pueblo later this month.”

County assemblies will take place across Colorado through March 14, where delegates elected at caucus will vote on candidates and select delegates to represent their communities at the next stage of the nominating process.

Colorado Democrats will gather in Pueblo on March 28 for the State Assembly, where delegates from across the state will vote to advance candidates to the Democratic primary ballot and continue organizing for the 2026 election.

Through the caucus and assembly process, Democrats also help shape and approve the party platform, which outlines the values and priorities the party fights for.

After second tragedy in two years in one family, Greenwood Village and Cherry Hills Village pledge to work together to make the Belleview & Franklin intersection safer, but no one knows when it will happen It is an understatement to say that the news about Gerry Goldberg losing his life in a car accident on March 2, in the same intersection where his wife Andie was hit and killed, less than two years earlier, has gone viral. The Villager first published the story online on March 3. By March 4, virtually every news station across the state had reported it, and by March 5, it had spread across the country. Local news stations told the story of the Goldbergs losing their lives in accidents at the same corner two years apart in New York, Omaha, Los Angeles, San Diego, New Orleans, Louisville, Shreveport, Jackson, Green Bay, Anchorage, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tyler, TX and Albany, GA, along with others. It also appeared in the news feeds of AOL.com and People Magazine.

For those who follow social media, this story has gotten 1,851 likes and drawn 114 comments on the Instagram of Infofrom denver.com. Here’s a sample of the comments: “How many deaths does it take to put in a light?” “Heartbreaking. Put a freaking light up there.” “Our communities are devasted and desperate to make this intersection safe. Our city councils need to act now.” “So sad and such a waste of a life…it’s likely to keep happening. We pay for infrastructure that’s supposed to benefit us not put us in harm’s way…this is very negligent of the city, it seems…and such an easy fix.”

But none of that is important to the friends and neighbors of the Goldbergs, who this week placed a memorial with a large photo of them, and in front of it, containers of colorful, cut flowers, at the corner of Belleview Avenue and Franklin Street, where Gerry and Andie both took their last breaths.

They want to know when the cities of Cherry Hills Village and Greenwood Village are going to do something to make the intersection safer.

Korean War veteran Bernie Rogoff, 95, who has long been active in state and local politics, lives in GV near Belleview and Franklin. He tried, without success, to get a traffic light put in 10 years ago. At that time, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) concluded it wasn’t warranted.

Bernie reached out to The Villager to say, regarding the CHV and GV City Councils, “Those people have blood on their hands. Now a husband and wife have both died at that intersection. They’ve pushed this aside.

– Reactions posted on social media after March 2 accident that took the life of Gerry Goldberg this 10 years ago, the elected officials did not act on what is an obvious need, 10 years ago and ever since. They caused the death of a husband and a wife.

I don’t know if it’s GV or CHV that is holding this up, but any elected official from either city who is responsible for not moving forward to put this signal in immediately has perpetrated the death of a husband and a wife and the voting public needs to hold them accountable. Times change.

Whatever we have settled for over the years isn’t good enough anymore. Unless the mayors and councils of both cities clearly say they are ready to put this signal in, they have failed to appropriately exercise the power that was given to them by the voters and it should be taken away in the next election, or sooner.”

This issue was first raised publicly three months after Andie Goldberg was killed crossing Belleview Avenue at Franklin Street to get home after going on a run in Cherry Hills Village. As she crossed the street, a car pulled into the intersection, anxious to make a left turn because the traffic had finally cleared. The driver didn’t see Andie in time to avoid hitting her.

Neighbors and friends of Andie’s came to the GV City Council meeting on August 5, 2024.

Several of them testified about what had happened and asked the council to make the intersection safer by placing a traffic signal there, before tragedy struck again.

Gerry Goldberg was present at the city council meeting that evening, but he did not testify.

Soon after, GV staff began to

gather data, including planning and conducting a warrant study at that intersection. After reviewing the data assembled by GV, CDOT agreed that a traffic light was warranted and GV prepared a very preliminary design, for discussion purposes.

Belleview is the dividing line between Cherry Hills Village and Greenwood Village for several miles in that area, so the installation of a new traffic signal at Belleview and Franklin requires the two cities to agree to it and share the cost.

During 2025, residents of GV and CHV appeared at multiple city council meetings in both cities to speak for and against getting a traffic signal there. More residents spoke in favor of it than against it but proponents and opponents of the light all spoke

with strong conviction. Those who were opposed were primarily CHV residents and mostly testified to the CHV council. The Villager reported on the ongoing testimony to both city councils on this issue in five separate articles between September 25 and December 11, 2025. (If you want to know all the dates, email or text this reporter).

Early in December 2025, a group led by Gerry Goldberg and former GV City Council Member Jerry Presley presented petitions to both GV and CHV City Councils with over 400 verified signatures from people who believed a traffic light at that intersection was needed for residents’ safety.

We asked whether the two cities will work on a new warrant study together. The CHV mayor told us, “I cannot say specifically whether we will work together on the warrant study at this time; our staffs have not had an opportunity to meet about that yet. But I know that both CHV and GV regard each other as neighbors and partners and want to collaborate when the interests of our residents are aligned.”

GV Mayor George Lantz told The Villager, “Cherry Hills Village has chosen to do their own warrant study; this is similar to the original warrant study that was commissioned and paid for

by Greenwood Village. As with the previous study, the study’s results will be shared by both communities.”

He continued, “The new

study’s results should accurately reflect the intersection’s traffic.

These results, including the current accident information, will be analyzed by CDOT to determine if the intersection meets the required warrant.”

Mayor Lantz went on, “The two cities are working closely together. Greenwood Village and Cherry Hills Village staff members, including the city managers, directors of public works, and police chiefs are meeting to develop options…including options to solve traffic issues (such as) cut-through traffic.”

Many area residents who told their city councils that they are not in favor of a traffic light noted concerns about increased cut-through traffic. That term describes a situation where drivers use less-traveled public streets in residential neighborhoods to avoid arterial streets that are busy or backed up. It is entirely legal but often unwelcome by residents who place a premium on living on a less-traveled residential street.

that if the new study performed

by CHV results in CDOT determining a traffic signal is warranted, the GV City Council will decide whether to include (its half of) the cost as a potential capital improvement project. Then, “Like other capital improvement projects, the public is invited to comment and testify as appropriate. This process leads to a staff presentation and a city council vote to fund the project or not as part of the budget process.”

A similar process would likely be followed in CHV. Although cities often pass mid-year budget amendments to fund projects they deem timesensitive, and this project may well meet that definition, if this process follows the normal timetable, funds to produce a formal design for a traffic signal would likely be budgeted by GV and CHV in 2027, with construction to follow in 2027 or 2028.

Other steps that the cities agree will increase safety, which do not involve construction, could be implemented as soon as they are identified.

The candidate says, “I’ve spent my entire life keeping people safe. But nothing hits closer to home than seeing our Arapahoe County families, small businesses, and neighborhoods struggle with crime, homelessness, and rising costs.

If elected Sheriff, Edling pledges to focus on:

As of now, neither Brown nor Edling have any challengers from their party for the nomination who have filed reports on the statewide campaign finance website. According to that site, both candidates last filed financial reports as of October 27, 2025 and have less than $3,300 in their campaign accounts. It is very early.

Why would Mr. Big Shot try this, as feds allege?

Why? That’s my reaction to federal allegations that Chauncey Billups participated in rigged highstakes poker games.

Why would Denver’s most decorated homegrown basketball star—one who topped $100 million in pro career earnings—involve himself in a scheme operated by some of the biggest crime families in America?

Why would the federal government arrest him and accuse him as they have unless they have the goods?

Billups played 17 seasons in the National Basketball Association, for seven teams, including Detroit and the Nuggets twice each.

Drafted third overall by the Boston Celtics in 1997, he has played on an NBA champion—Detroit in 2004, when he was named the Finals most valuable player and earned the nickname “Mr. Big Shot” for his clutch play—scored 15,802 points in his illustrious career, and is in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

At George Washington High School, he was a four-time firstteam all-state player and three-time Colorado Mr. Basketball.

He chose the University of Colorado over storied Kansas and several other Division One programs, and in his second and final

season in Boulder led the Buffs to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 28 years.

They upset Indiana, 8062, with Billups scoring 24 points in 32 minutes, before losing to North Carolina.

He’s had not one, but two uniform numbers retired at two levels, No. 4 at CU and No. 1 in Detroit.

His net worth is estimated be at least $35 million and likely is more, including an opulent 15,000-square-foot residence in Greenwood Village which he used as collateral for his $5 million bail in the pending federal case.

He was among 30 former pro athletes and nefarious associates of the Lucchese, Gambino, Genovese and Bonanno mob families arrested last October. He has been charged with money laundering and wire fraud.

Investigators claim the group organized rigged high-stakes poker games in Las Vegas, Miami and New York locations, enticing victims with the prospect of playing alongside former elite athletes, such as Billups.

They allege that the games were rigged using hidden technology, such as contact lenses and glasses designed to read marked cards, altered shuffling machines and an X-ray table.

(One of those indicted was a

central figure in the earlier gambling scandal that resulted in former University of Denver and Toronto Raptors player Jontay Porter, brother of former Nugget Michael Porter Jr., being barred for life from the NBA in 2004.)

A second, 23-page indictment refers to a party whose anonymous description seems to refer to Billups, accusing him of feeding gamblers inside information about a Portland Trailblazers game on which an informed bettor, allegedly relying on that information, won a $100,000 wager.

“Let’s not mince words,” FBI Director Kash Patel said last October when the charges were announced, “this is the insider trading saga of the NBA. That’s what this is.”

Billups and all other defendants in the government’s case appeared before federal judge Ramon Reyes in a Brooklyn federal court last week to learn that the judge was setting a November 2 trial date.

Prosecutors told the court they were anticipating extending plea offers to 12 defendants and were negotiating possible deals with nine others. But they did not name any.

In the meantime, Billups is free on that $5 million bond, though his travel is limited to Colorado, California, Maryland, Minnesota, Oregon, New York City and Washington, DC. Head coach of the Portland Trailblazers since 2021, he’s been suspended without pay by the NBA since charges were filed.

So, I ask again, why?

Why would someone with a net worth in the millions and an NBA coaching gig that pays additional

millions yearly, be attracted to a rigged card game as the “celebrity” whose role was to attract high-rollers to the game?

Do the competitive juices continue flowing in elite athletes after retirement to such an extent that they can’t resist new challenges?

Is no amount of money irresistible, regardless of how it’s gained and how much you already have?

Or is it a horrible mistake?

Longtime NBA player and coach Tyronn Lue, who is Billups’ closest friend, finds it unbelievable.

“It’s hard to process,” Lue has told ESPN. “I believe in Chauncey’s character. I know who he is as a person. I’ve been with him since I was 17 years old.”

Larry Brown, who preceded Doug Moe as head coach of the Nuggets (when Billups was an infant) and later coached Billups in Detroit, including that NBA championship, also is vocally in his former star’s corner.

“He would be one of the last people I would think about involving himself with bad people,” Brown has said.

“If you talked to anybody that was involved with Chauncey, that spent time with him and knew him, knew his kids, I think they’d say the same thing.”

Billups has pled not guilty and hasn’t been convicted of anything yet.

The feds could be making a huge mistake, yet the evidence they’ve presented to support a 22page indictment looks compelling.

In a brief submitted at the most recent hearing before judge Reyes, prosecutors said their evidence—to mention only some—includes

more than 100,000 pages of financial records, and telephone records, more than 800 pages of photographs, and body-worn camera footage.

They refer to Billups as “a member of the cheating team” and produced text messages involving Billups that discussed intentionally losing occasionally to avoid suspicion of cheating.

Prosecutors contend that Billups knew the signals the “cheating team” used to cheat and followed them.

Billups’ attorney, Chris Heywood, has defiantly challenged the government’s allegations.

“Anyone who knows Chauncey Billups knows he is a man of integrity,” he said in a statement to ESPN. “Men of integrity do not cheat and defraud others.

“To believe that Chauncey Billups did what the federal government is accusing him of is to believe that he would risk his Hallof-Fame legacy, his reputation and his freedom.

“He would not jeopardize those things for anything, let alone a card game.”

And, in fact, there does not appear to be a smoking gun with Billups’ name literally on it among the thousands of text messages the government has amassed in support of its charges.

5 rules for investing in retirement Managing your portfolio with new risks and priorities in mind takes careful planning and regular monitoring.

Here are tips from Merrill on how to get started.

Heads up: Investing in retirement is not the same as investing for retirement.

All the smart strategies you used to accumulate enough for retirement will likely need adjusting as you enter the next chapter of your life.

Think of it as a shift in perspective from investing for the really long term to being much more prepared for shorter-term risks. “If anything, investing in retirement is a bit more complex, given the variety of potential risks and uncertainties,” says Anil Suri, a managing director in the Chief Investment Office (CIO) for Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank.

So where do you begin? It can start with a thorough portfolio review with your advisor, ideally at least three years before you retire. After you retire, plan to revisit your portfolio quarterly and keep these five investing guidelines in mind.

1. Review your asset allocation with new risks in mind.

In mid-career, you could afford to be aggressive with your portfolio. When you are drawing down those assets after you retire and have less time to recover from market drops, a more conservative approach may make sense.

Still, being too conservative heightens the risks of outliving your money and failing to keep pace with cost-of-living increases. Consider that even a modest annual inflation rate of 2.5% would erode the spending power of a dollar by 46% over a 25-year period, according to calculations by the CIO. Ask your advisor whether your current fixed income and dividend stock investments are sufficient to supply you with the income you will need, given the potential for inflation and market volatility. Will your current asset allocation provide enough potential growth to cover another 20 years or more? Finding the right balance for your personal situation is key.

2. Prioritize your immediate cash needs.

If your noninvestment income (Social Security, a pension, income from a part-time job) covers all or most of your essential expenses — healthcare, housing and so on — you can take on more investing risk. If not, you may want to have more of your investments in lower-risk assets, such as U.S. Treasuries, high-grade corporate bonds or annuities.

“You want a high level of certainty around the investments that are supporting your essential lifestyle,” Suri says. “Beyond that, you need to pursue more growth.” Keep in mind that you may end up spending more than you anticipated in retirement. Some 45% of retirees report spending more than they had expected, according to the 2025 Retirement Confidence Survey from the Employee Benefits Research Institute and Greenwald Research.1 3. Do not abandon stocks.

While stocks are susceptible to shortterm price swings, they also give you the best chance of staying ahead of inflation and helping your money last. While you may have previously felt comfortable with an aggressive equity allocation, you and your advisor could now find that a more balanced allocation, say 50% to stocks and 50% to bonds, offers the greatest likelihood of providing you with the growth you need, according to the CIO. An all-cash portfolio leaves you at greater risk of running out of money.

4. Prepare for volatility, especially early in your retirement.

Volatility can be especially damaging early in retirement. When you are investing for retirement, you are likely contributing regularly to your retirement plan. Once you retire, however, you are not only withdrawing funds, but you are also no longer making fresh contributions.

You need to guard against what is called sequence of returns risk. It is what happens when a steep market drop in the first few years of retirement forces you to draw down stocks at depressed prices. Withdrawing more than you had intended could have an outsized impact on your remaining wealth. Having cash and short-term bonds on hand can help you navigate down markets, says Nevenka Vrdoljak, a managing director in the CIO. “Adding more guaranteed income could also help minimize sequence of returns risk,” she adds.

5. Stick to your plan — and review it regularly.

Creating a solid retirement investment strategy is one thing. Sticking to it is another, and our emotions can sometimes cause us to act too hastily when markets get volatile, particularly in retirement. In fact, because investors tend to buy and sell at inappropriate times, their actual returns often lag the overall market.

An advisor can help you avoid emotional mistakes, and reviewing your plan regularly with your advisor can also help you feel more in control. “One of the greatest threats to a secure retirement is the failure to have a plan,” Vrdoljak says. Developing a retirement investing plan — and sticking to it — may be the most important rule there is.
