Good evening and welcome to our fabulous spring benefit, A Night Under the Stars! We are so excited to gather together tonight. On behalf of Villa Academy’s Board of Trustees, our students, faculty, and staff, I thank you for coming together in celebration of our wonderful school.
In this beautiful space, on this lovely night, we remind one another of the magic of Villa--our campus, our community, and our program. We are so fortunate to belong to one another, connected by our relationships and our shared commitment to expanding the impact of a Villa education. United by our deep belief in the innate goodness of children, the limitless possibilities of their growth, and the immeasurable impact of a student-centered, justice-oriented education, we remind ourselves why we’re here. It is a blessing to be together.
Thank you for your ongoing support and investment in the future of Villa Academy. It is a profound affirmation of the exceptional work students, faculty, and staff engage in every day. Through your partnership, we are able to send young people out into the world-confident, curious, accomplished, imaginative, and kind. Through the transformative power of your gifts, the sky’s the limit for our Villa students.

Each year, the Heart of Villa is awarded to honor and celebrate individuals who have made remarkable contributions to Villa Academy across their family’s tenure in the school.
Extraordinary, heart-centered service takes many different forms, and impacts myriad areas of student, campus, and community life. Heart of Villa awardees have demonstrated exceptional service, stewardship, and commitment to Villa Academy throughout their years of relationship with the school.
These individuals truly represent “the heart of Villa” through their sustained volunteering, community building, and serving as ambassadors beyond Villa Academy. This award recognizes an 8th-grade parent volunteer whose youngest child is graduating from Villa.
Tonight, we ask you to raise the paddle in support of financial assistance, to extend the possibility of a Villa education to more students and families. Simply put, financial assistance enables us to grow–in countless ways that enrich and enliven the experience of all Villa students. As we more effectively live our mission by expanding our community and its impact, each and every child benefits.
A special thank you to our Villa family contributing a dollar-for-dollar match up to $20,000–you are raising the bar and demonstrating powerful faith in this project. We are humbled by your generosity, as well as that of each person contributing to this work.
