| THE HEART | Total Value $Priceless Second Grade students studied the Pop Art of Andy Warhol. They noticed the repetition of everyday objects and their meaning. For this project, instead of commenting on the banality of an image, we all discussed how we could choose an object that would bring more meaning to the world. The HEART felt like it would bring peace and warmth to our community. The students colored their hearts using a Warholesque pallet of colors. After some stylistic choices were made for their design, each second grade student articulated what their heart meant.
