Service in the Community

This intersession, first-year OT student Jayda Eike was one of 11 students chosen to participate in a service trip with the Center for Service and Social Justice to New Orleans, Louisiana. Graduate OT student Kelly McGovern was selected as a chaperone for this trip. Throughout the week, students volunteered with various organizations in New Orleans. They worked to build houses, prepare food boxes, and provide over 5,000 hot meals to children and adults most in need in the NOLA community. Great work ladies, we are so proud of you!
