Graduate students taking Advancement of Occupational Perforamance with Dr. Jennifer Whittaker crafted a specialized blanket to provide comfort and emotional support to a child affected by trauma.This blanket will be donated to a child to promote feelings of safety and assist self regulation. Students enhanced their understanding of trauma informed care, creative skills, and occupation based interventions.This wonderful blanket will be donated to a foster care agency to improve the wellbeing of a child.
