Margaret will be lovingly missed and remembered by her many friends, especially her close friends Mary, Norma, Ena and Bruno.

The family are eternally grateful to Norma and George Kelly for their tireless support and guidance through these very trying times and for being by Margaret’s side every step of the way.

Donald and Margaret emigrated from England calling Nassau home since 1956. They loved Bahamas and spent many years sailing throughout the Islands and visiting most of them. They attended 12 George Town regattas.

Margaret devoted many years of her life to helping others and in service to her faith as a member of Holy Spirit Anglican Church. She was a Brownie and Girl Guide Leader, volunteered at Sandilands Hospital, knitted in excess of 100 stuffed bears for sick children at Princess Margaret Hospital, and was a familiar face at Persis Rogers and a devoted volunteer for many years. Her cheerful and positive outlook created a fun atmosphere, bringing all sorts of crafts and surprises weekly to the residents.

Cremation has taken place and due to Covid, there will be no visitation and a memorial service is not possible.
