Death Notice For Ivy Carolyn French, 84 of Village Green, Nassau, The Bahamas died peacefully at home on Saturday, August 22, 2020.

She is survived by daughters Maureen French and Patricia French and her partner Bruce Ost; sister Evelyn Thring and her husband Jim of Ontario Canada; sister-inlaw Margaret French and former son-in-law Derek Burrows.

She was Aunt Ivy to nieces Linda Sauer, Eileen French, Gloria Sykes and her husband Dave of Connecticut; Dawn Henderson and her husband Carmen of Victoria BC; nephews Jim French and his wife Janet; Edwin Tatton and his wife Brenda of Ontario Canada; Jim Thring and his wife Anita of Ontario Canada; John Thring and his wife Denice of Ontario Canada; Joseph Thring of Ontario Canada and nephew-in-law Edward Newbold.

She is predeceased by her husband Sydney French, granddaughter Sydney Lily Burrows, parents Thomas and Esther Agnew, parents-in-law Nathaniel James French Sr. and Gwendoline French, her brother Thomas Agnew and his wife Mary, sisters Pat Skinner, Peggy Tompkins and Betty Tatton and her husband Harold, her brother-in-law N. James French Jr., sisters-in-law Gwendoline French and Agnes Evans and her husband George; nieces Donna Evans, Joan Newbold and Victoria Roberts, nephew Gregory Skinner, nephew-in-law Harald Sauer and Geneva Lloyd.

Ivy was lovingly cared for day in and day out by her earth angels Marjorie (Netti) McKenzie, Joy Albury, Caren Cummings, Dr. Ian Kelly and Dr. Indira Grimes.

In lieu of flowers, we would be honoured if you will remember her fondly and make a donation in her memory to the Bahamas Sailing Association in support of the Summer Sailing Camp, c/o The Nassau Yacht Club, P.O. Box N 752, Nassau, Bahamas.

Due to Corona Virus restrictions, a private interment will be held at Christ Church Cathedral Garden of Remembrance at a later date.
