Mother’s DayRememberance Minister
Iris A ranese Ro e
Entrance: October 14th, 1952 | Earthly Exit: August 10th, 2026
“The
Hands That Held the World”

Your hands were never still they stitched torn knees with kisses, braided mornings into our hair and cupped the trembling light, when we were too small to hold it. Your voice was a harbor, so with tides of lullabies, yet strong enough to anchor us with prayers through storms we could not name.
You taught us that love is not a single bloom, but a garden tended daily soil under the nails, sun on the back with patience in the rain. Today, we see the years woven into your smile, and we carry them like a lantern knowing every step we take is lit by the hands.
Celebrating you this Mother’s Day as you continue to rest in heavenly peace.
From your husband: Vernal; daughters: Raquel (Woody), Shavonne (Tyrone) Tameka (Reuben); grandchildren: Michael (Patrelle) and Jada; great grandson: Kellen; brother: Reginald; nieces and nephews
