TOUR THE HISTORIC TOWN HALL On 43rd Street, between Bryant Park and Times Square, stands The Town Hall - a testament to equality, inclusiveness and social progress. Founded by suffragists in 1921, The Town Hall was created to educate people on the important issues of the day. Today, it is one of New York City’s premier performance halls for music, dance, comedy and more. The Town Hall is a designated National Historic Landmark with a rich legacy. We invite you to tour the Hall that has stood at the crossroads of history & culture for nearly a century. Your tour will feature the story of The Town Hall followed by a walkthrough of the 1,500 seat auditorium and an opportunity to stand on the stage where some of your favorite artists have performed. A tax deductible gift of $15 is suggested and encouraged to support the tours. THE TOWN HALL’S YOUNG PATRONS CIRCLE JOIN NEW YORK CITY’S NEXT GENERATION OF TOWN HALL SUPPORTERS. Town Hall’s Young Patrons Circle is a special membership group that engages in social and educational activities through exciting events, performances, and programming. Brought together by a shared love of the arts, a deep interest in social change and civic engagement, and a desire to become a part of a growing group of like-minded individuals, members of the Young Patrons Circle are provided with a meaningful opportunity to develop a closer relationship with Town Hall and its historic role in the fabric of NYC’s arts community. As we look toward the future, we want to bring the next generation together— not only to mix and mingle, but to raise awareness about this historic landmark.
