E’ la macchina più piccola e flessibile nella famiglia delle multifilo Gaspari Menotti che mantiene però intatta la filosofia di affidabilità e robustezza degli impianti di taglia superiore. La variabilità degli spessori è completamente automatica e si ottiene spostando assialmente le pulegge di rinvio/tensionamento e quelle motore alle misure di taglio desiderate garantendo, dunque, l’ottenimento di qualunque misura sia in formato metrico che in pollici. La macchina utilizza fili diamantati ad anello chiuso che sono avvolti su un sistema di pulegge (4 per ogni filo). Ogni sistema di pulegge è organizzato su due strutture in alluminio ed acciaio inox che fungono da supporto a 2 pulegge. Ciascuna sponda può traslare in modo autonomo in direzione perpendicolare al piano di taglio permettendo cosi una variazione continua dello spessore di taglio. La macchina è organizzata in modo che una sponda permetta il tensionamento del filo per mezzo di un cilindro idraulico proporzionale.

The multiwire stationary plant, model GFW 5, is the smallest and most flexible machine in the family of Gaspari Menotti multiwire machines that, however, maintains unchanged the philosophy of reliability and robustness of the "sisters" of larger size.

The variability of the widths is fully automatic and is obtained moving axially the tensioning and transmission pulleys and the motor ones to the cut measures granting therefore the achievement of any measure both in metric format than in inches. The machine uses closed ring diamond wires which are wounded on a system of pulleys (4 for each wire). Every system of pulleys is organised on two structures in aluminium and stainless steel that support two pulleys. Every pulley support can translate autonomously in a direction perpendicular to the cutting plane allowing therefore a continuous change of the sawing width. The machine has been conceived in order that a pulley support allows the wire tensioning by a proportional hydraulic cylinder.

A big display touchscreen allows, through a simple graphic interface, to set and then check and adjust during all the working phases, the cutting parameters: downfeed, peripheral speed and tensioning.
