Padre Eugenio Barsanti

In 1853 Father Eugenio Barsanti together with Eng. Felice Matteucci invented the first ever internal combustion engine in history.

The same engine that even today with all the improvements and innovations, after 160 years, allows us to travel by car and it is used in many other means of transportation and applications.

A long tradition in engineering that goes on with the Barsanti Macchine Srl that designs, builds and installs machinery and turnkey lines for marble, stone and granite processing.

Quality refers to the entire system of policies, procedures, and products guidelines established in Barsanti Macchine for the purpose of achieving and maintaining excellency.

Quality products assurance consists of three principal functions: quality engineering, quality control and quality management.

The aim of quality engineering is to incorporate quality into the design of products and processes and to avoid potential quality problems prior to product delivery. Quality control involves making a series of planned measurements in order to determine if quality standards are being fulfilled. If not, then corrective and/or future preventive actions must be taken to achieve and maintain conformance.

A dedicated quality control department provides methodological and continuous technical support. Successful business needs that quality must be integrated throughout the company.
