La serie “GSE-C 200M”, Lucidatrici Automatiche per Marmo, nasce da un progetto innovativo in cui si sono integrati tutti gli elementi che concorrono alla caratterizzazione della macchina quali: Struttura meccanica estremamente rigida e tale da evitare ogni vibrazione anche nelle condizioni d'uso più gravose.

Elevata velocità di (60 mt/1’) traslazione del ponte portamandrini tale da permettere un aumento sostanziale della velocità del nastro. La motorizzazione del ponte è con tre motori con sistema elettronico di regolazione. A seguito di una accurata sperimentazione del sistema è stato possibile raggiungere elevatissime velocità di traslazione, regolarità di moto e inversioni del moto del ponte programmabili (spazio - velocità). Tutto ciò consente una perfetta lucidatura delle lastre anche nel caso di difetti dovuti ad uno scadente taglio delle lastre al telaio.

La macchina è dotata di una innovazione sostanziale e precisamente il CLAMP, il quale ha il compito di definire lo spostamento in verticale della testa porta utensili in modo costante ed indipendente dallo spessore delle lastre in lavorazione.

The “GSE-C 200M” series - Automated Polishing Machine for Marble - was born from an innovative project in which all the components which contribute essentially to machine featuring were brought together. Components such as: Extremely stiff mechanical structure to avoid every vibration even in the most hard operating conditions.

High translation speed of the spindle-carrier bridge (60 mt/1’) so as to allow a substantial increase in conveyor belt speed. There is three bridge motorization with an electronic adjustment system. We developed the system and succeeded in reaching translation speeds which till now were unthinkable with programmable motion adjustment and inversions (space - speed) which make it possible to work even slabs with extreme imperfect cuts.

The machine is equipped with a device called CLAMP the purpose of this device is to define the vertical movement of the polishing heads, in a constant manner and independently from the thickness of the slabs under process.

GSE-C 200M POLISHING MACHINE FOR HIGH PRODUCTION OF MARBLE SLABS Lo spostamento è controllato per mezzo di un sistema oleopneumatico.

Le teste si sollevano di una quota fissa (da 5 a 10 mm), che rende l’utensile sempre molto vicino al materiale da lavorare e che aumenta notevolmente la produttività della macchina.

Con questo sistema è possibile lavorare lastre di spessore differente con la stessa accuratezza e con la stessa precisione come se si lavorassero lastre di spessore uguale una con l’altra.

L’incremento di produttività che si ha, con detta miglioria, è di circa il 25% per quanto concerne l’avanzamento in fase di lucidatura.

Altro miglioramento che si ha è la riduzione del consumo degli abrasivi e degli utensili in genere perché si riduce l’impatto fra utensile e materiale da lavorare.Il nastro trasportatore è costruito con fibre speciali inestensibili e copertura in gomma naturale di nuovo disegno e tale da assicurare il mantenimento della lastra nella posizione iniziale durante il trasporto.

La gestione della macchina è totalmente automatizzata grazie ad un potente controllo numerico (CNC) e monitor a cristalli liquidi.

Tramite il C.N.C. è possibile variare e controllare tutte le funzioni operative della macchina consentendole un funzionamento non presidiato da operatore. Il programma del controllo numerico permette, oltre alla normale gestione (con visualizzazione grafica su video), la variazione del profilo letto della lastra (da parte dell'operatore) in caso di rottura della stessa con i mandrini che rispondono al nuovo profilo. Sempre in grafica è possibile controllare lo spessore delle lastre in lavorazione, la loro posizione lungo il nastro trasportatore, la porzione di abrasivi ancora utili per ciascun mandrino. Le macchine GSE-C 200M sono dotate di piatti porta abrasivi tipo Frankfürt, azionati da motori di 11 Kw cad. Si possono lucidare lastre con larghezze di 2,10 mt e con spessore da 1 a 10 cm.

Le macchine GSE-C 200M consentono elevati rendimenti in termini di affidabilità, qualità e quantità produttiva. Tutto ciò grazie al perfezionamento della parte meccanica e l'adozione dei componenti più evoluti oggi esistenti sul mercato.

The up vertical movement is mechanical, fixed and constant.

The heads move up by a fixed quantity (from 5 to 10 mm), and this brings the tools (diamond or stone abrasives) very near to the surface of the slab, thus greatly increasing the machine production.

With this system it is possible to process slabs of different thickness with the same accuracy and precision as slabs of the same thickness.

The increase in production, with the use of the CLAMP system, is approximately 25 % as the speed of the belt is concerned.

Another improvement is the reduction of abrasives wear and of the tools in general, as the hit between tool and slab is reduced due to the reduced run.

Conveyor belt with special nonextending fibres and with a newdesign cover made of natural rubber so as to ensure that the slab is kept in the initial position during transport.

Automatic machine running with powerful numeric control and liquid crystal monitor. It is possible to vary the operating functions by using the C.N.C. Because of the special operating software design, the machine can operate when not manned. The numeric control programme allows the variation of the profile read by the slab (by the operator) in addition to normal running (with graphic display on the video) in case of necessity (breaking). The spindles will answer to the new profile. Again in the graphics, it will be possible to check the thickness of the slabs being processed, their position along the conveyor belt, the portion of abrasives which are still usable for each spindle. Another page will supply all the machine running data referring to a period or a order such as: Tool cost (E/sq. m.) Electrical cost (E/sq. m.) Labour cost (E/sq. m.).

GSE-C 200M machines are equipped with Frankfurt abrasive-carrying plates powered by 11 kW motors each.

It is possible to polish slabs with a width of 2.10 metres and with a thickness of 1 to 10 cm.

GSE-C 200M machines allow high quality standards of the production carried out. The perfection of the mechanical area and adopting the most developed components which exist today allow a high degree of reliability to be reached.

STRUTTURA BASE E GRUPPO DI TRASPORTO BASIS STRUCTURE AND TRANSPORT UNIT

La struttura di base è composita in acciaio elettrosaldato e direttamente derivata dal progetto del basamento delle macchine lucidatrici per granito.

La parte superiore è ottenuta con lamiera di acciaio antiusura perfettamente rettificata senza riprese di lavorazione e con canali di adduzione acqua per la creazione dell'effetto di idrosostentamento del nastro trasportatore.

Alle due estremità sono installati tamburi di acciaio che ruotano su cuscinetti di grosse dimensioni.

Ad una estremità il tamburo è mosso da un motoriduttore epicicloidale, collegato alla struttura mediante uno speciale accorgimento per assicurare sempre un perfetto auto allineamento dello stesso rispetto all'asse del tamburo, mentre nell'altra estremità il tamburo è dotato di un dispositivo per il tensionamento del nastro.

Composite structure made of electrowelded steel derived directly from the granite polishing machine base project.

The upper part is obtained with anti-wear steel sheet which is perfectly ground without restarting processing and with water feed channels to create the hydro lift effect of the conveyor belt. At the two ends, steel drums are installed which rotate on large ball bearings. One drum is powered by a epicyclic geared motor and the other is equipped with a belt tensioning device.

The conveyor belt is composed of a high-strength load-bearing structure covered in a layer of natural rubber.

La trave portamandrini è realizzata con struttura tipo alveolare ed è il risultato di accurati studi volti ad ottimizzare la resistenza statica e dinamica in funzione della riduzione delle masse in gioco .

Ne risulta che la trave portamandrini ha un peso contenuto in relazione agli elevati momenti di inerzia.

Il progetto del gruppo trave portamandrini è frutto della tecnologia Barsanti che ormai da molti anni prevede gli alloggiamenti dei mandrini collocati al centro della trave, in posizione baricentrica, per l'annullamento degli sforzi di torsione dovuti al peso proprio dei mandrini ed avere la massima stabilità della trave.

The cell structure which forms the spindle-holder beam is the result of careful studies aimed at optimizing the static resistance in function of the reduction of the masses in play.

In this way the spindle-holder beam has restrained weight in relation to the high bending and torsional moment of inertia. This structure has been equipped with oversize motors which ensure that the dynamic performance of the spindle-holder bridge (number of strokes per minute) are the best in the category.

The spindle-holder beam unit design is the result of Barsanti technology which for many years now has located the spindle housings at the centre of the beam in a centre-of-gravity position in order to have maximum stability.

Lo scorrimento avviene mediante delle guide in acciaio temprato e rettificato su cui scorrono i rullini in acciaio speciale ; il gruppo degli scorrimenti è lubrificato a bagno d'olio. Il sistema è protetto da infiltrazioni di polvere o acqua con labirinti e carter in acciaio inox facilmente estraibili per una rapida ispezione .

I pattini sono autolivellanti con perfetto accoppiamento ai rullini di scorrimento e di conseguenza alla guida fissa alloggiata nei supporti di scorrimento.

At the ends of the beam, the mobile sliding blocks made of hardened and ground special steel are housed. The sliding blocks are self-levelling to have a perfect coupling with the sliding needles and consequently with the fixed guide housed in the sliding supports.

The motion transmission sprockets are splined to the end part of the shaft.

Sliding occurs through hardened and ground steel guides on which the special steel needles slide. The sliding unit is oil-bath lubricated. The system is protected from dust and water seepage by a series of stainless steel guards which can be removed easily for quick inspection.

THE SPINDLE

UnitĂ operatrice modulare su cui viene montato il piatto di levigatura.

Corpo mandrino in fusione di alluminio ad elevata resistenza. Albero di grosse dimensioni (diametro 80 mm) con scanalature millerighe per l'accoppiamento albero - puleggia che consente la trasmissione di potenza elevata senza usure che possono condizionarne la durata.

L'albero ruota su cuscinetti sovradi mensionati per una durata illimitata del mandrino. La corsa verticale del mandrino è ottenuta mediante due cilindri pneumatici che assicurano un movimento rapido e preciso.

La trasmissione del moto rotatorio, dal motore al mandrino, avviene mediante cinghie trapezoidali. Il mandrino ha tre punti di lubrificazione i cui terminali sono posti (per ogni mandrino) su un pannello indicante le istruzioni. La macchina può essere fornita con sistema automatico di lubrificazione (optional) centralizzata.

A modular operational unit on which the polishing plate is mounted. The spindle body is made from high-resistance aluminium alloy.

Large-dimension shaft (diameter 80 mm) with multi-lined grooving for the coupling of the shaft-pulley that allows for power transmission without wear that could effect duration. The shaft rotates on oversized bearings to ensure an unlimited duration of the spindle. The vertical stroke of the spindle is obtained by means of two pneumatic cylinders that en sure a rapid and precise movement. The transmission of the rotary motion, from the motor to the spindle is by means of "V" belts. The spindle has three lubrication points the terminals of which are positioned (for each spindle) on a panel that indicates the instructions. The machine can also be equipped with a centralized automatic lubrication system (optional).

GRUPPO PORTA UTENSILI

TOOL CARRIER HEADS

Su ogni mandrino è installato un piatto porta abrasivi. Il collegamento fra il mandrino ed il piatto porta abrasivi è realizzato mediante appositi giunti elastici fabbricati su progetto Barsanti.

Il materiale di cui sono costituiti tali giunti è una gomma di opportuna durezza e rinforzata da un'anima metallica.

Sul piatto porta abrasivi sono fissate delle alette in acciaio inox, dimensionate in modo tale da permettere la corretta collocazione del settore abrasivo.

An abrasive-carrier plate is installed on every spindle. The connection between the spindle and the abrasive-carrier plate is made with special elastic joints made according to the Barsanti project.

The material which these joints are composed of is a rubber with suitable shore hardness reinforced by a metal core.

Suitable stainless steel fins are fixed onto the abrasive-carrier plate of the right size to allow the abrasive sector to be positioned correctly.

PROTEZIONE ANTISPRUZZO

ANTI-SPRAY GUARDS

Le protezioni antispruzzo anteriori sono in alluminio anodizzato ed in acciaio inox .Inoltre sono singole, testa per testa, e si sollevano manualmente in modo da rendere accessibile all'operatore il vano per la sostituzione degli utensili esauriti.

A richiesta vengono fornite le protezioni ad apertura motorizzata anzichè manuale.

In questo caso le protezioni si sollevano automaticamente per il cambio utensile e si riabbassano appena l'operatore preme il tasto di "reset" per partenza macchina.

Anodized aluminium and stainless steel front anti-spray guards.

The guards are individual, head by head and are raised manually so as to make the compartment for replacing finished abrasives accessible to the operator.

The guards can also be motor-driven (optional).

LETTORE PROFILI E SPESSORE PROFILE AND THICKNESS READER

All'ingresso della macchina è installato il lettore del profilo delle lastre che fornisce al C.N.C. tutti i dati necessari della gestione dei movimenti della trave ed alla discesa - salita dei mandrini.

Dopo il lettore del profilo trovasi il lettore dello spessore che fornisce al C.N.C.l'informazione necessaria alla gestione dell'asse y dei mandrini.

The machine entrance features a slab profile reader that provides the C.N.C. with all the information necessary for the control of the spindles. After the profile reader there is the thickness reader that supplies the C.N.C. with all the information necessary for the control of the spindle axes.

La distribuzione dell'acqua per la refrigerazione degli utensili è assicurata da una tubazione principale in PVC che riduce la sedimentazione dei residui solidi e del calcare.

La tubazione principale è comunque ispezionabile per la pulizia periodica.

Per ogni mandrino si ha una derivazione e l'afflusso dell'acqua è regolato da rubinetto a sfera.

The distribution of water for tool cooling is assured by a principal PVC pipe that reduces solid residue or limescale deposits.

The main piping can however be inspected for regular cleaning.

There is an off take for each spindle and the water delivery is regulated by two ball cocks.

In uscita della macchina un rullo rotante (con strip in nylon intercambiabile) provvede alla rimozione di residui della lavorazione, in modo che dopo la successiva fase di asciugatura, la superficie delle lastre risulti perfettamente pulita.

Il posizionamento del rullo pulitore sulle lastre è automatico in base al loro spessore.

On exit from the machine a rotating roller (with interchangeable nylon strip) undertakes to remove the machining residues, so that after the subsequent drying phase, the slabs surfaces appear totally clean.

The positioning of the cleaning roller on the slabs is automatic according to their thickness.
