COMMITTEE CORNER
The Community Awareness Committee continues to work with Gwinnett County to address the following areas of concern that are near our neighborhood:
• 2476 Hamilton Mill Road (abandoned gas station)
• Hamilton Mill Parkway/Hog Mountain Road (intersection safety issue)
• 2155 Pine Road (abandoned property)
• 3919/3943 Braselton Hwy (abandoned property)
• Hamilton Mill Rd/SR 124 (intersection widening)
Grounds & Facilities Committee is well into its 2025 project to improve & update the irrigation system’s clocks and zones in the neighborhood with the goal of saving money through more prudent water usage and reducing water waste.
The Pickleball Committee continues to grow the number of residents using our Pickleball Courts. There will be three ALTA pickleball seasons in 2025: spring, summer, and fall. Contact the Tennis Shop for more info on joi8ning a team or if you are new to the sport, consider taking a few lessons with our Pickleball Pro right here in the neighborhood.

The Social Committee is busy stuffing 7000 Easter Eggs for the annual Spring Fling & Egg Hunt to be held on Saturday, April 19 on the Soccer Field. The Spring Garage Sale and a Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament fill up the last weekend in April.
The Technology Committee is working on projects including improving the audio/visual capabilities for the conference room to allow better remote communication, working on a system for residents to use a phone app for access to amenities, working in conjunction with the G&F Committee to improve & update the irrigation and an update to the hmill.com site to be more user friendly and with additional features .
Tennis Committee - significant maintenance has been completed on the gates, nets and the courts. We are aware of the cracks at the Lakeview courts, a maintenance plan is being worked out.
The Tennis Shop has received 2 VAPTR court drying machines which should significantly improve the speed of drying the courts in wet weather so reach out to the shop if you have a match and need to dry the courts.
