– Exhibit Space Available – The Greater Hall Chamber's 8th Annual HealthSmart Interactive Wellness Expo presented by CIGNA is Wednesday, October 8 from 7:30 am-1:30 pm at the Gainesville Civic Center. A VISION 2030 Initiative, this community event is open to the public and offers free health screenings and access to area wellness exhibitors. 60+ wellness exhibitors and FREE Community Health Screenings! Health screenings are open to men and women 18 years and older. Participate in the screenings, bring a friend or fellow employee and win a FREE T-SHIRT (limited, 1st 100 screenings)! Free Blood Pressure checks, Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation, Venous Reflux screening, Cholesterol, Triglycerides and Glucose (sugar) testing and more. Physicians from The Longstreet Clinic, P.C. will be on hand to present your written screening report. NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED! Screenings provided by The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., Good News Clinics and Lanier Technical College.
The Chamber's Annual Membership Recruitment Campaign will kick off on September 15 with the help of dozens of volunteers that have been recruited to help sign up new members. Volunteer recruiters are seeking to develop new business relationships and meet the GOAL of 100 new members. Leading the campaign is Membership Vice Chair Tony Paramore, Gainesville Paint/Gainesville Design Center.
