The Chamber has formed an Economy Forward Task Force to develop a proactive strategic plan to assist our business community in returning to its past economic vitality. One of ECONOMY FORWARD’s areas of focus is Small Business Development and is of utmost importance. To propel our local economy forward, the support of the community is needed as we regain our former dynamic, healthy and diversified economy.

We urge all to BUY LOCAL, EAT LOCAL! Studies show that when you buy locally, a greater portion of your money is then used to make purchases from other local businesses and service providers – further strengthening the economic base and creating a sustainable connection.
Chamber staff has developed a resource listing all member restaurants and caterers along with the services they are offering. From curbside pickup to family dinner specials, our eateries have worked tirelessly to come up with creative ways to stay in business while feeding our community. To assist our small businesses in reopening, the Chamber is connecting its members with resources providing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and services. From hand sanitizer to signage, we seek to be the liaison to help jump-start your business. We will continue to keep you informed with local, state and national resources, and as we move forward, we will be contacting our members to survey your needs. Remember that the Chamber is your partner and advocate. For small business, know the Chamber is here to help. You are the heart of the economy and the Chamber's membership base. We are committed to the success of our community and ensuring the conditions for healthy commerce. The Chamber's online membership directory is provided as a resource to find business services and members. Visit online to see who's a member at GHCC.com/membership/directory. Let's all buy local, eat local, and GO LOCAL!
