From the Transportation Forum to Hackers Holiday Golf, upcoming activities offer something for everyone! • The Annual Transportation Forum is Wednesday, March 13 at the University of North Georgia, Gainesville Campus from 11:30 a.m.

The Chamber of Commerce Program "Sales Made Simple" is presented by Jeff Smith, founder of ActionCOACH Atlanta, and will include discussion on ways for business owners to grow revenue.

• The Annual Job Fair is Wednesday, April 10 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Gainesville Civic Center. Nominations for Chamber Board of Directors 2013-2016 Term Phil Bonelli, Wells Fargo Phil Bonelli is a Vice President in Wells Fargo’s Business Banking Group for Gainesville. He currently serves as the 2012-2013 President of the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville, and is also a board member at the Boys & Girls Club and Humane Society of Hall County, as well as being the race director for the 2013 Trillium Trek benefiting Elachee Nature Science Center. He is a graduate of Leadership Hall County. Phil was raised in Sautee, Georgia, and moved to Gainesville after graduating in 2007 from the University of Georgia, where he studied Finance and Spanish. Phil and his wife, Lindsay, reside in North Hall County with their one year old daughter, Caroline Grace, and are members of Gainesville First United Methodist Church.

John Breakfield, Breakfield & Associates John Gage Breakfield is the managing partner of Breakfield & Associates, Attorneys, located in Gainesville. His firm handles general litigation for businesses and individuals. John earned his B.A. from Wofford College and his law degree from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. John also serves as the part-time prosecutor for Gainesville Municipal Court, as well as a part-time instructor for the University of North Georgia’s paralegal program. Gainesville native Will Hicks is a Vice President/Investments and Co-Branch Manager with Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc., a full-service brokerage firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. With over 16 years in the securities business, he began his career in Gainesville with A.G. Edwards & Sons. Will works with both businesses and individuals, helping them develop investment strategies to pursue their specific goals and has obtained the Certified Financial Planner professional certification.

Will is a graduate of Gainesville High School and the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He is active in the community and is a past president of Chattahoochee Country Club, a member of the Chattahoochee Golf Course Advisory Committee, a Leadership Hall County graduate, and former member of the Gainesville Jaycees and Friends of the Parks.

Will, and his wife, Loo, have two daughters and reside in Gainesville.

Steve McNeilly, NEGA Health System Steve McNeilly has works for Northeast Georgia Health System in the Finance & Managed Care Division for 19 years. He is the Director of Northeast Georgia Health Partners, a PPO network, which serves over 40,000 members and ranks third in market share in the region. Steve works with employers, brokers, and insurance carriers and has been instrumental in the development of new insurance products marketed throughout Northeast Georgia. He is a graduate of the University of North Georgia and received his MBA from Brenau University in Healthcare Administration. Steve is a licensed insurance agent, a graduate of Leadership Hall County, and serves on the Chamber's Healthcare Committee.

Steve lives in Gainesville and he and wife, Pam, have a daughter, Anna Kate.

The Chamber's Nominating Committee, in accordance with the Bylaws (Article 5, Section 5), nominates these seven individuals to serve a three-year term July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2016. Mary Jane Locklear, Cox Communications Mary Jane Locklear and husband, Randy, are owners of Cox Communications and Electronics, Inc. They purchased the business in 2010 and are celebrating the company's 55 year anniversary. She enjoys working with local companies providing customer service with complete security and telecom solutions.

She is a former licensed life and health agent, serving seven states with Lincoln Heritage and Senior Life Insurance Companies.

Mary Jane is active in the non- profit sector as well as with the Chamber, serving as a driving force and team captain for the membership drive two years running, winning the team goal and the individual prize for the most new businesses recruited. She is active on the Ambassadors Council. Mary Jane is a Delaware native and mother of three daughters ranging in age from 3 to 15. A Jackson County resident, she is involved with the park and recreation department as an assistant coach for the girls soccer league.

Greg Ours, Poly Enterprises A native of Ohio, Greg Ours obtained a degree in business administration and began a career as a professional football player and offensive lineman for the Orlando Renegades USFL, then the NFL's Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots. In 1989 he began a business career in various industries starting as vice president and safety director of Ours Garage & Wrecker Service. He joined Ducks Unlimited in 1993 as regional director, and in 1997 became a sales and manufacturing consultant for Carton Service/Packaging Insights, a pharmaceutical contract packaging company. In 2003, Greg purchased Poly Enterprises, a Gainesville-based manufacturer of durable molded vinyl products such as bar, counter and branded floor mats – the largest bar mat manufacturer in the world – and a distributor of traffic cones of various size and colors. He currently serves as a member of the Gainesville-Hall County Economic Development Council. Greg and his wife, Brenda, have two children and reside in Buford.

Brad Puryear, Mansfield Energy Corp.

Brad Puryear is General Counsel of Mansfield Energy Corp. and the Mansfield family of companies – a diversified company selling petroleum products, biofuels, natural gas, logistics management, environmental, and fuel facility equipment services to commercial/industrial and government end-users and fuel retailers across the U.S. and Canada. In 2012, Mansfield was ranked by Forbes Magazine as the 54th largest privately held company in the U.S., with annual sales over $6.5 billion. Brad’s responsibilities include governing all legal affairs for the Mansfield companies. He also manages acquisitions and strategic alliances, serves as government relations liaison and oversees insurance matters. Brad serves on the Board of Directors for Northeast Georgia Health Partners, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America. He is a past president of the Gainesville Jaycees and the March of Dimes, a graduate of Leadership Hall County, and is actively involved in coaching youth sports. He is married to Jennifer Rogers Puryear, and they have five children.

ZF Gainesville LLC celebrates the production of its three millionth axle drive that is assembled in the Chrysler Jeep Grand Cherokee, GM Chevy Caprice and the Mercedes M Class. Tim Hayes, Hayes Chrysler Plymonth, delivered a Jeep Grand Cherokee from his dealership to the ZF plant where the employees celebrated the milestone.

Assessors are surveying homes, photographing and assessing issues such as sagging roofs, significant cracks or failing foundations. Youth Leadership began the Healthcare & Community Service Program at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hall County where they participated in team building games and toured the clubs led by Mark Mendoza. At Challenged Child & Friends they heard from David Earnest, Director, and assisted educators in classrooms by playing, singing and reading to the children. At Northeast Georgia Health System they heard from Ashley Smith, Education Services, then toured the ER, Lab, Stribling Heart Center, then Laurelwood where they heard about the purpose of the facility.
