Every year, the excitement over Best of Hall starts to build earlier, the interest level rises faster, and the public’s support grows exponentially stronger.

The Best of Hall 2019 winners have been announced, and more businesses, nonprofits and individuals have been recognized for being exceptional than ever before.

It is amazing how support for the Best of Hall competition has grown over the past four years, culminating in hundreds of nominees, thousands of votes, and a broad sampling of the best the area has to offer in dozens of different categories.

The area’s largest competition of its type has become an annual tradition for many of you, as evidenced by the fact we often are asked “When does the voting start?” months before the ballots are ready.

This magazine features the best of the best, those entities that the people in our community have selected as being worthy of special recognition.

We know from past experience that many of our winners take great pride in hanging the plaques, mounting the certificates and posting the window clings that proclaim that they are considered among the Best of Hall. We also know that such recognition helps customers in deciding with whom they prefer to do business.

But more than anything, we know that the annual Best of Hall competition is a lot of fun, for those who participate by nominating and voting, for those who are honored by being nominated and receiving votes, and even for those who may fall a little short but become determine to win their category next year.

This year, for the first time, we added to the fun with a special public event to allow potential voters to meet nominees at the beginning of balloting, and a second public event at which the winners were announced and recognized.

Some of those chosen as Best of Hall are familiar names that have been winners in the past, while others are being recognized with the honor for the first time. If you don’t’ see your favorite local company in the winner’s list this year, make sure you nominate them next time and then vote to help them win the recognition they deserve.

Founding partner Bob Coleman began his legal career almost three decades ago, and spent many years practicing primarily in the domestic area as the Family Law department head at the time, eventually transitioning his sole focus to complex personal injury/ wrongful death cases and premises liability. Mr. Coleman has managed several multi-million dollar cases. Mr. Coleman has also done numerous speaking engagements on behalf of the End Distracted Driving program to over 3,000 students in Hall, White and Lumpkin Counties. Mr. Coleman’s associate attorney, Ryland Jennings, also works in our personal injury department.

A fifth generation resident of Hall County, founding partner Rob Chambers began practicing law as an assistant district attorney, immediately falling in love with the court room. Mr. Chambers has also had the pleasure of serving the residents of Hall County as a State Court Judge, presiding over personal injury cases, contract disputes, criminal cases and numerous other civil cases. Cale Rogers joined the firm in 2001, and began managing the firm’s real estate department. His practice is concentrated around real estate and business matters, handling real estate closings, real estate litigation and disputes, wills and probate matters, the drafting and review of contracts, and advising the firm’s corporate and business clients. Mr. Rogers frequently litigates real estate and probate matters with ease and proficiency.

Natalie Teston is the managing partner within the firm, as well as the Family Law department head. She also handles a wide variety of domestic matters, from complex, highly contested divorces, to modifications of child support and alimony, and adoption. Mrs. Teston has also had the privilege of serving as Guardian ad Litem on Superior Court cases to represent the best interests of children. Mrs. Teston also assists clients with personal injury claims. Mrs. Teston was voted by fellow attorneys to become the local Bar President in 2019. Mrs. Teston’s associate attorney, Sarah Richardson Trahan, also works in our domestic department.
