常见问题

1.我可以在什么时候预约校园演出？

我们的校园演出全年都开放预约！但由于实际演出时间需要取决于演员档期和其他预订 好的演出场次，为方便预约流程，建议您先提供希望安排的日期和时间清单，以利后续 洽谈。

2.预约流程为何？

第一步：发送电邮至实践剧场的教育推广组，询问有关校园演出的更多资讯，并查看贵校 想预约的日期与时间。 第二步：确定适合安排的日期和时间后，填写订场表格并回传给我们的教育推广组。 第三步：收到我们发送的确认电邮即代表完成预订！

3.完成预订的下一步是什么？

网上演出：

我们的教育推广组会在演出前一周发送电邮，提供 Zoom 会议室链接和有关演出的详细 资讯。此外，我们也会在演出前一天与负责老师分别建立群组聊天室，以便能在演出开始 前和演出中，进行相关的技术支援和沟通。 现场演出：

我们的教育推广组会在演出前几天联系负责老师，协调演出所需的设置和相关准备。

是否会提供任何演后教学资源？ 我们多数的作品都会附上演后的教学资源，让学生们的参与体验能延伸至课堂学习。 老师们也可以根据学生的实际需求，调整我们所建议的课堂活动。

学校是否能在预订后更改演出时间或取消演出？ 如需更改或取消已预订的演出，最迟请于原订演出前30天告知。如于演出前30天内取消 演出，将酌收50%的演出费用；如于演出前24小时取消演出，将收取100%的演出费用。 如因冠病安全管理措施而无法于原订时间进行演出，我们会将您的预约延期办理，不会 收取额外费用。此外，为了保障自由业表演工作者和制作人员的权益，我们非常不鼓励 学校取消已完成预订的演出。

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1.When can I book a school show?

Our school shows are available all year round! However, bookings are subject to cast availability and prior engagements. To expedite the process, please provide us with a list of preferred dates and timings.

2.What is the booking process like?

Step 1: Contact our Advocacy team via email to find out more about our shows and check availability.

Step 2: Once a suitable date and time has been set, fill in the booking form and return it to the team.

Step 3: A confirmation email will be sent to lock down the booking. That’s it!

3.After the booking is confirmed, what happens next?

Digital Show: The Zoom link and show details will be sent one week prior to the performance date, via email. Our Advocacy team will set up a group chat with the respective teachers-in-charge one day before the show, for communication and technical assistance before and during the performance.

Physical Show: Our Advocacy team will contact the teacher-in-charge to coordinate the set-up required for the performance, a few days prior to the performance date.

Will post-show materials be provided?

Most of our productions come with post-show materials to extend the students’ experience into the classrooms. Teachers are welcome to adapt the activities according to the needs of their students.

What happens if the school has to change the date or cancel the performance?

Changes in date/time or cancellations should be made at least 30 days before the performance date. Any changes after the specified period will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the performance fee (within 30 days), or 100% of the performance fee (within 24 hours).

If the performance cannot proceed due to COVID-19 safe management measures, the booking will be postponed, with no additional charge.

We strongly discourage cancellations in order to safeguard the livelihoods of our freelance performers and production crew.

剧场就在每个人的生活中！

Theatre In Our Everyday Lives! 剧场创作者会以相当有趣的方式看待世界，而不管你是谁，你都可以将以下的 五种观点融入日常生活中： 1.游戏不是儿戏。

在剧场，我们提倡“游戏”精神和乐趣！这种“好玩”的态度，不但能释放压力、激发 创造力，更能让失败看起来不那么可怕。

2.戏必须演下去！

剧场创作者受过的训练，让他们能在最后一刻运用创造力解决突发问题。就算面对 意想不到的挑战，也不会惊慌，尝试跳出框架寻找解决方法。

3.观众知道我们在说什么吗？

剧场创作者需要时时刻刻站在观众的角度思考。而在现实社会中，我们也都需要记住 自己是在和谁说话、别人又是如何接收我们的话。

4.没问题，一起来！

即兴创作需要我们坦然接收伙伴的想法，并以此为基础加以延伸发展。与他人合作时 要敞开心胸，倾听而并非批判。鼓励不同想法、拥抱各种可能性！

Theatre-makers have an interesting way of looking at the world.

Here are five perspectives that ANYONE can incorporate into their everyday life: 1.Play is Serious Business.

Theatre celebrates the fun and pleasurable! Adopting a playful attitude releases stress, encourages creativity, and makes failure seem less scary.

2.The Show Must Go On! Theatre-makers are trained to use their creativity to resolve last-minute issues. When faced with unexpected challenges, don’t panic and try thinking outside the box for solutions!

3.Does The Audience Know What We’re Saying?

Theatre-makers always need to consider the audience’s perspective.

In the real world, we must always remember who we are talking to and how our words are received.

4.Yes, Let’s!

Improv requires us to accept our partner’s ideas and build off it.

Be open-minded when working with others! Listen without judgement, encourage different ideas and embrace all possibilities.

5.Read Between The Lines...

Subtext helps audiences discern a character’s real motivations and the play’s overall message. We must remember to look beyond the surface.

) 作为新加坡艺术教育的领航者，实践剧场的教育推广部门长期通过

“实践教育工程”，积极推动并倡导艺术的价值。

实践教育工程精心编排的课程与节目，不但落实了实践剧场的艺术

理念，更贯彻了“以人为本”的核心价值。通过这些课程，让同学们在 学习艺术的过程之中，同时培养他们的个人发展，如：自律、同理心、

热忱、自信和创造力等。我们的主要课程包括周末儿童课程，以及广受 欢迎的短期和长期活动（演出、工作坊、讲座、教师培训等），让学生们 建立起与表演艺术更紧密的关系。

The Theatre Practice is recognised as a pioneer in arts education in Singapore, with TTPEP as one of our Advocacy team’s key initiatives.

Programmes under TTPEP complement and extend the Practice philosophy that the human experience should always be the core of our work. With this exposure students learn to develop personal and social capabilities such as: self-discipline, empathy, passion, confidence, and creativity.

Key programmes include weekend children’s courses, as well as well-received short-term and long-term initiatives (shows, workshops, talks, teachers' training) that bridge a student’s relationship with the performing arts.

1.提倡“游戏”的文化

作为新加坡艺术教育的先驱，实践教育工程别具匠心，结合“游戏”精神与不同层面的 表演艺术训练。

2.为新加坡开拓接触华语及华文文化的多元空间

实践剧场长期以来通过艺术不遗余力地推广华语及华文文化。实践教育工程在为青少年 设计节目时，也将这一点作为核心纳入考量。 “我们和语言之间的关系已经改变了许多。我指的不是哪个特定的语言， 在我看来，现在的孩子们只在‘功能性’或‘学术性’学习语言。剧场能

成为桥梁，让他们以更多元的方式接近语言，产生共鸣，从而开始累积 自己的文化意识。”

时至今日，实践剧场延续著联合创办人及文化奖得主郭宝崑与吴丽娟 的精神向前迈进。在现任艺术总监郭践红的带领之下，实践剧场持续

塑造新加坡独有的文化景观，成为新加坡剧场不可忽视的重要声音。

郭践红相信“游戏”是艺术创作中重要的元素，基于这样的创作理念， 实践剧场也成功在游戏中体现了无惧的探索精神。

作为新加坡艺术教育的先驱之一，实践剧场大力培育新加坡的艺术 领域人才，并向年轻世代灌输对艺术的热爱。

实践剧场是国家艺术理事会主要拨款赞助的艺术团体（2020年四月 ～2023年三月），同时也是经注册的公益团体，以及新华剧体的成员 之一。 40

The Theatre Practice (Practice) is Singapore’s longest-standing professional bilingual theatre institution. Artist-driven and deeply progressive, Practice strives to be an arts space in Singapore that consciously nurtures and empowers people who care about humanity. Over the past 57 years, we have developed and presented works that aim to reflect the richness and complexities of Singapore’s diverse cultures.

Today, we carry on the work of our visionary co-founders and cultural medallion recipients, Kuo Pao Kun and Goh Lay Kuan. Under the helm of current Artistic Director Kuo Jian Hong, Practice continues to shape Singapore’s cultural landscape as the definitive voice in Singapore theatre.

Jian Hong is deeply influenced by the importance of play in art-making and under her leadership, Practice has become the embodiment of the irrepressible spirit and fearless experimentation of play.

Practice is motivated by a desire to always respectfully entertain. We have collaborated with Singapore and international artists alike to present a critically-acclaimed repertoire of over 350 productions including musicals, classics, original and experimental works. We have toured extensively in the region. Many of our works have entered the canon of Southeast Asian literature and have been adapted and presented by theatre companies worldwide, presenting an authentically Singaporean voice on the world stage.

Since our inception, Practice has served as a cultural bridge between Asia and the world. Our current theatre festival — Patch! A (Live) Theatre Festival of Play — comes from a legacy of carefully curated festivals and seminars that gather practitioners of all disciplines and cultures for sharing and exchange, while providing a valuable platform for outstanding international works.

As pioneers in Arts Education in Singapore, Practice has been instrumental both in nurturing leaders in the Singapore arts scene, and inculcating a love for the arts in generations of Singapore youth.

Artistically diverse and constantly relevant, Practice will always engage in the ceaseless exploration of new frontiers.

The Theatre Practice is supported by the National Arts Council under the Major Company Scheme for the period of April 2020 to March 2023. Practice is also an Institution of Public Character and a member of the Singapore Chinese Language Theatre Alliance.
