Three Teknoys Top EM Board Exam ONLINE LEARNING: CIT UNIVERSITY shouts “CIT TOPS AGAIN!” once more, as three Teknoys landed within the top 10 spots in the Mining Engineer Licensure Examination given last August 9 to 11, 2021.

EDUCATION is the groundwork of our development and is crucial in building our social and economic well-being. Due to unforeseen circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, in place of traditional learning, academic institutions have adapted to an online setup that provides students the opportunity to continue learning from the safety and comfort of their own homes. As a nation with remarkable resilience, we find ways to thrive despite the difficulties brought by certain conditions that hinder our paths. The remote setup has been beneficial to students and teachers alike given the flexibility of schedules that emphasizes learning at your own pace and eliminating the restrictions of geographical boundaries. It also caters to various learning styles, whether it be visual or auditory, as well as the advantage of recording lectures that students can review when they need clarification on certain topics. Modern-Day Philippine PolItics: More Jokes, Less Substance SOCIAL media is now in all kinds of colors as the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) wraps up the filing of certificates of candidacy. Our streets are yet to see streamers of portraits and slogans, and hear loud campaign jingles. The election season’s festive atmosphere is a reason why political analyst Richard Heydarian calls the Philippines, a ‘fiesta democracy’.
