Washington journalist speaks at USM Samantha Schott Executive Editor

Political journalist Eleanor Clift said she probably learned to argue while sitting at the dinner table, defending her ethnic friends to her father.

“Whenever I brought anyone home, my father would always say, ‘Well, what’s the last name?’

Because then he could slide it into his particular bias or bigotry, and that’s what made me a liberal from a very early age,” said the renowned Washington reporter.

Clift visited The University of Southern Mississippi Tuesday to deliver a speech titled “Countdown to 2012: the Road Ahead,” as part of the Honors Forum lecture series.

The event was sponsored by the Centennial Celebration Committee and the Honors College. During her speech, Clift shared her philosophy on establishing values.

Clift became a contributing editor for Newsweek Magazine in 1994. She is a regular panelist on the syndicated talk show, The McLaughlin Group. Clift has also appeared as herself in several movies, including “Dave,” “Independence Day,” “Murder at 1600,” “Rising Sun,” and the CBS series, “Murphy Brown.” Clift has covered every presidential campaign since 1976. The USM chapter of the American Association of University Professors held a meeting to discuss the university’s budget situation and the ongoing process for program appeals.

The members of USM-AAUP drafted letters to deliver to the faculty senate that discussed their concerns over the University Priorities Committee’s recommendation process that “represents a clear attack on tenure and academic freedom.”

Thirteen voting members at the meeting chose unanimously to send a proposal by Bob Press which would reduce the amount of money full-time students contribute to the athletics department by half, from $384 per semester to $192.

Ellen Weinauer, an AAUP member, is a part of the faculty senate budget committee. She said AAUP shouldn’t wait until the senate suggests the cut to try to garner support for it.

“We need to pre-endorse it, to get people in the senate talking about it,” she said.

Members expressed frustration over the amount of rewording they have gone through in attempts to have their voices heard.

ken to people around campus and many have expressed discontent about how the process turned out and about the appeals process is going.

process followed AAUP guidelines or because even what parts the faculty were engaged in were ignored by the executive committee.” Greer said.

“I was in the press room one day. The press secretary tapped me on the shoulder and said, ‘The president would like to see you.’ I was ushered into the Oval Office to meet with President Carter. He greeted me and said, ‘You’ve come to talk about my Eleanor.’ That was a clear reference to Eleanor Roosevelt in that his wife would be playing the same role.... I later discovered that Rosalind Carter’s first name really is Eleanor.”

As Clift continues to explore both politics and journalism, she appreciates even more a meeting early in her life with another famous Eleanor. At age 13, Clift won an essay contest, titled “What the United Nations means to me.”

One of the judges was Eleanor Roosevelt. Clift said Roosevelt commented to her on how similar their names were, and the experience has become more significant to Clift during her career. (Clift’s maiden name was Roeloffs.)

After telling these stories and more, the rebel took her suitcases and boarded her flight, working her way back up to Washington.

Southern Style leaves impression Sabrina Brown Printz Writer During orientation every prospective student meets someone dressed in an infamous “yellow jacket,” who leads the newcomers around campus to their desired destination. These charismatic, inspiring and helpful students are members of the prestigious group, Southern Style.

Southern Style was established in 1977. In the early 1950s and 1960s, Southern Style was originally known as “The Yellow Jackets,” hence the yellow sports coat that the group is distinguished by.

The group was created for only men to join, and then it evolved into what it is now: Southern Style for both men and women.

Southern Style is the official host and hostess group for official university events; they serve as leaders and active participants during preview sessions and GEWW; they learn and teach Southern Miss traditions and student services information; they serve as a student representative to parents, and they serve in retention efforts in the First Year Experience office.

Wynde Fitts who has been serving on the Southern Miss faculty since 1999 is the director of First Year Experience and Southern Style.

“I have always enjoyed working with students,” Fitts said. “I try to

help them become more servant leaders for the university.”

To become a member of Southern Style, students go through a strict selection process. Students are selected from their application to attend round 1 where they dress in Southern Miss attire and they meet and greet all of the fellow applicants. In round 2, students have to dress in business attire and they will be emailed to notify them that they have made it thus far. They will have to sign up for interviews immediately. In round 3, students have to dress in interview attire and have a group interview with all of the current Southern Style members. Finally, they have an individual interview with Wynde Fitts.

There are usually no more than 25 members in the group, and students can only serve one year. Students must possess a 2.50 grade point average, and they must be a full time undergraduate student for fall and spring semester. Southern Style members also have various commitments: Southern Regional Orientation Workshop, Southern Style Retreats and a Southern Style Training Course.

Andrew Brown, a senior biology major from Madison is an active member of Southern Style.

“Southern Style has taught me a lot about what it means to be a leader, and it has given me a good support group,” Brown said. “I really enjoy meeting all of the new students, and help-

ing put their parents at east. It is both fun and interesting.”

Lesley Brumfield, a junior sociology major from Murfreesboro,Tenn., agreed that Southern Style has impacted her life dramatically.

“I’d be lying if I said Southern Style hasn’t changed my life. It has made me more confident in myself and leadership abilities,” Brumfield said. “It has taught me what hard work and service to others really is. It has both humbled and empowered me.”

Southern Style for 2010 consists of 23 diverse members: Jessica Dominguez, Maley Morris, Stephanie Gwin, Alesha Knox, Rachael Nicholson, Lesley Brumfield, Amelie Wax, Lacey Myers, Ashley Dow, Tierra Clemmons, Kaitlin Dement, Nicole Jones, Rebecca Masters, Michael Ibos, Steven McRae, Mitchell Bordelon, Lee Johnson, Charlie Herrington, Andrew Brown, Terrence Dillon, Zach Knight, Matt Harris, and Landon Carmean.

Auditions are held every year, and the results are usually released after the first of the year.

“I truly enjoy working with them,” said Fitts. “They are a great team, and I try to reinforce good leadership skills and for them to serve willingly.”

On Nov. 21 students were notified of their selection status, and by the first of the year, all current new Southern Style members will meet and begin to work together in the spring for recruiting.

News in brief December commencement speaker chosen Mary Libby Payne will be the keynote speaker at the Centennial Celebration Commencement Friday, Dec. 10 at Reed Green Coliseum on the Hattiesburg campus. Payne is the granddaughter of Joseph Anderson Cook, the first president of The University of Southern Mississippi.

Payne will give the keynote address at two commencement exercises that day.

Payne is a retired Mississippi Court of Appeals Judge and professor and founding dean of the Mississippi College School of Law. Payne has been involved in public service and bar responsibilities throughout her professional career. She presently serves on the Governor’s Committee for Judicial Selection and on the Women in the Profession Committee of

the Mississippi Bar Association, and is a scholar-in-residence/professor emerita at Mississippi College School of Law. She attended Mississippi University for Women (MUW) for two years, and then earned a bachelor of arts degree, with distinction, in political science from the University of Mississippi. She also holds the Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law, finishing first in her class and where she was also Casenote Editor of the Law Journal staff and chair of the Moot Court Board. She practiced law in Jackson and Brandon and has served each branch of state government, including as legislative draftsman, as executive director of the Mississippi Judi-

ciary Commission (and later as a judge) and as an assistant state attorney general.

Among her many honors and awards include being named “Woman of the Year” by the Mississippi Association for Women in Higher Education 1989 and being awarded The Medallion of Excellence, the highest award given by MUW, in 1990. In 1998 she was named Mississippi College Lawyer of the Year by its School of Law Alumni Association, and Outstanding Woman Lawyer by the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association. She is also the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from both the Mississippi Bar Association and the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association.

Personality test: fun or fact?

Hannah Jones Printz Writer Personality tests have one of two perceptions to most people – a psychological research tool or a good way to kill time.

Though most everyone has taken some form of personality test at one point in his or her life, it raises the question, are personality tests fun or fact?

USM psychology professor William Goggin expressed that though personality tests can be extremely useful in psychology work, they do have shortcomings to consider.

“They may be unreliable, invalid, biased or easily faked,” he said.

Sophomore Business major Jocelyn Lockhart doesn’t take personality tests too seriously.

“Personality tests are a source of entertainment for me,” Lockhart said. “I believe they are somewhat accurate although they do not consider external factors such as your current energy level or mood.”

However, personality tests do offer benefits for participants.

Goggin explained that the results from tests can be used to “help people adjust and interact in various situations.”

From their results, participants can learn how to be comfortable with themselves by properly understanding the makeup of their personalities. Though personality tests help participants gain personal insight, they are also

used for an array of purposes such as research, marketing, clinical work, school counseling and job placement.

Though personality tests are used to highlight personal traits, issues and concerns, they can also be a source of entertainment. It’s no secret that the Internet is jam-packed with sites offering free personality tests to users. Sites such as personalityquiz.net have various categories to browse such as relational psychology tests, personality profiles, inner trait tests, and color tests to discover more about one’s personality through fun, lighthearted quizzes.

Similarminds.com not only offers a variety of tests but also demographics to compare results with other users and additional articles and sources to aid in understanding the different types of tests available on the website.

Though these tests are fun, one must always consider the validity of the website and source.

Goggin said the main aspects that determine results in a personality test are one’s level of “openness, conscientiousness, extraversion-introversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism.” From those traits, Goggin explained that the most desired traits to possess in American culture are “openness, conscientiousness, and agreeableness,” but the most common and simplistic way of separating personalities is by grouping people as either introverted or extroverted.

demic website states that Carl Jung, a twentieth century Swiss psychologist, defined an introverted personality as one that is “shy, contemplative, and reserved” while an extraverted personality is characterized by “outgoingness, aggressiveness, and responsiveness to other persons.”

The terms introverted and extroverted have become so recognizable that they are used in everyday language when describing aspects of one’s personality.

Freshmen Exercise Science major, Dillion Evans, described himself as having an introverted personality.

“The fact that I am terrified in situations where I have to meet and interact with new people leads me to believe that I am introverted,” he said.

However, Sophomore English licensure major Kelsey Mitchell expressed that she has an extroverted personality. She summarized herself as “outgoing,” “friendly” and “compassionate,” and that her strongest personality trait is her caring nature.

“I like listening to people and being there for them when they need someone,” Mitchell said.

“I like having close relationships with people.”

Though personality tests cannot be interpreted as concrete fact, they can teach participants aspects of their personalities that they might not have been aware of before. So whether it’s for research, employment, or fun, take a personality test and get a little personal.

Women scientists are a minority in today’s world. The organization Women in Science and Engineering, otherwise known as WISE, is trying to change that.

WISE is an organization that develops programs to help female scientists. It helps the women in the group to develop interview skills and a proper resume among other things. The group helps undergraduates participate in research and studies to prepare for graduate school and helps graduates find internships.

The group has women scientists visit to talk to the girls about the hardships they faced on their road to success in the scientific world.

USM graduates often return to speak, offering the women in WISE a glimpse of what it is like to work for different companies.

WISE also develops a network for people who have common goals. Third year graduate student and president of WISE, Olivia Brooks, expressed how important this was to the group.

“I think that most people that are involved with the group kind of have common goals,” Brooks said. “They want to be successful.

They feel like the organization is going to provide that.”

Brooks said the organization is a tool in the work industry. It cannot make people become successful but it can help.

Brooks said the interview tips and resume-building were very beneficial to her in the long run.

Another third year graduate, Nicole Mackey, said, “It’s a way for us all to get together and know

each other. I have women that are going through similar things [as I am]. It’s good support.”

Fourth year graduate Mary Mackey said, “I like it because it gives us a chance to get together and study. Since women are underrepresented, it’s nice to see successful women in the field.”

Undergraduates Katie Davis and Lauren LaBeaud also talked about how well WISE is advertised and how it is a good industry to help get your foot in the door of different industries.

WISE is open to everyone in the science industry. Some of the majors of the women in the organization include chemistry, polymer science, biology, and forensic science. WISE is interested in all fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

WISE is also a not a financialbased group. The group aims solely to prepare women for the world of science. The group is also interested in becoming a part of a nationally known organization called Society of Women and Engineers.

WISE is an organization based around women scientists, but men are welcome to attend the meetings, too.

Anyone is eligible to join WISE. All you have to do is attend the meetings to be part of the organization. WISE meets once a month, usually on Thursdays. However, days and times might differ when a special guest comes to talk to the group. Wikileaks will bring more secrecy Ben Sutton Printz Writer The website Wikileaks.org is a whistle-blower site created to reveal government corruption through the posting of leaked documents – a noble idea, and a great one in theory. What better way to keep the government in check than the constant threat of the government’s actions being revealed to the general public?

Wikileaks has entered the public spotlight since July this year when a set of leaked US documents dubbed “the Afghan War Diaries” was added to the site.

That leak, along with a similar leak consisting of over 300,000 documents released in October concerning the War in Iraq, gave detailed casualty figures and soldier accounts of the two American wars that have defined the past decade.

The degree of harm caused to US military operations by the release of the leaked war documents is debatable. However, this month Wikileaks released over a quarter of a million US embassy cables that revealed a host of controversial communications among government officials and diplomats of various countries.

Those revelations could have harmful and long-term effects on US foreign relations.

In the wake of the Wikileaks revelations, I have heard the argument that since American citizens pay for the government to operate – at least in part, through their

taxes – the people should be informed of all of the government’s actions, and that nothing should be kept secret. After all, American citizens should be responsible enough to handle even the most sensitive information, right?

I think the problems and dangers of such thinking are obvious. People following that line of thought make three very flawed assumptions. Firstly, they assume that the average American citizen is both responsible and informed enough to understand such a huge wealth of raw information and react in a reasonable way. There is ample evidence to suggest otherwise, a large amount of which is readily viewable on YouTube.

The second flawed assumption is that American citizens, when presented with the choice to either use their knowledge of the government for the country’s

greater good or for personal gain, will choose the unselfish option.

While people are perfectly capable of selfless acts, they will rarely act selflessly with no ulterior motive. Proof of this is in our very perception of selflessness; after all, why would we praise selfless acts and those who commit them if such acts were the norm?

A third fatally flawed assumption is that only American citizens – those most likely to have the US’s best interests in mind – will access and use government information. Through Wikileaks or other readily available online sources, those who would bring harm to our country and its citizens can and will gain easy access to information that could aid them in their goals.

The bottom line here is that, despite the nobility behind the idea of Wikileaks, the logic be-

hind it is unsound and operates on naïve, idealist assumptions of human nature. Furthermore, the republican form of government (many forget that the United States is a republic, not a democracy) is designed to operate with the people’s consent but not their constant micromanagement. Electing officials implies trust to govern justly and serve the best interests of the people.

The people’s direct interference with the government’s operations defeats the purpose of republican government.

I am not saying that the government should not be held accountable for its actions; on the contrary, I believe strongly in elected officials being held accountable for the manner in which they govern. However, revealing illegal actions on the part of a politician is entirely

different from revealing a huge amount of information without regard for whether its contents simply reveal corruption or endanger Americans operating secretly out of necessity.

I believe those behind the release of the diplomatic cables have mostly good intentions. That said, their attempts to promote openness and accountability of the US government will in all likelihood result in just the opposite. This past month, a bill which would have given the government the right to blacklist sites committing any sort of copyright infringement was narrowly shot down.

If signed into law, the bill would have allowed the US government to block Americans from accessing blacklisted sites. The bill could have potentially been used for political reasons; the American government would only have to find a violation of copyright on a site like Wikileaks to blacklist the site and block Americans’ access to it.

Now that Wikileaks has released embarrassing and damaging information concerning US politicians and diplomats, passage of a bill allowing censorship of the internet has become a much stronger possibility for the near future. In the end, I think Wikileaks’ reckless posting of leaked government documents will help bring about the exact opposite of what they intended: a more secretive government and widespread government censorship of the internet. I honestly hope I am wrong.

Add more lights, keep students safe Jackie Vallor is a freshman criminal justice major from Ocean Springs.

It’s inevitable; you cannot walk across this campus at night without going through at least one dark area. It is in these areas that females have been targeted, usually when they are walking alone.

Even though there are many emergency phones spread throughout the campus, they can only do so much, and I think there should be more lights in the middle of campus, particularly around the Joseph Greene building, under the eagle walk, Bond Hall and most parking lots on campus. Also, I think there should

be more security around that area and not just around the quad.

With more security and more lights I think there will be a decrease in attacks around campus.

I also think the campus should be informed of the benefits of UPD rides in the university emails. I think if the lighting is increased around campus, it will make more of the students feel safe with walking around at night.

I recently talked to a sorority sister who got attacked on campus earlier on in the semester.

As she told it, she was walking from Wilbur Hall to the village by herself around nine thirty. When she went through

the shortcut behind the Powerhouse, someone started walking behind her. She did not think anything of it until he said something and inappropriately grabbed her. She turned around and slapped him and continued walking. It was then that he grabbed her by the waist and jerked her around so that he could grab her arms. If it weren’t for the witness that saw the attack, the attacker might have gotten away with it and might have gotten away with stealing her things or other horrible acts of violence. It was after that night, that she refused to walk around campus by her-

self at night. With increasing attacks on campus the students should be scared of walking around by themselves.

Regardless of how much it would cost to install more lights around campus, they would be very beneficial to the students.

While lighting will not completely prevent women from getting attacked, it could help identify attackers more easily if and when they do occur. When asking other students how they felt about the lighting, many agreed that it was scary to walk anywhere on campus at night and think that there should be an increase in lights around

campus. Also, it would not be a bad idea to install more security cameras around these areas in the event that someone does get attacked. I feel like our safety is far more important than the cost of installing these lights and that it is a big issue on this campus. With the increase in students at Southern Miss, the more opportunities people have to prey on women. Even if I drive across campus at night, I find that parking spots are rare, and I usually end up having to walk far to get to my dorm.

Should I ever have to feel this uncomfortable about walking around campus at night?

Bad idea.

Closing nightclubs and bars at midnight will not curtail violence.

We here at The Printz, like the entire Southern Miss family, fully support our three wounded Eagles who were the victims of a senseless shooting at the Remington’s Hunt Club last month. We hope to see justice brought forth for that heinous act. However,

we cannot endorse the knee-jerk reactions on the part of some of Hattiesburg’s city leaders.

A meeting of the city council is set for Dec. 6 to discuss the possibility of requiring local nightclubs to shut down at midnight – two hours earlier than they do now.

Opinion But that kind of broad reaction is not the answer.

Over the past year, Hattiesburg Police responded to 129 calls at Remington’s Hunt Club, with no arrests. But another bar, Ropers, had an even higher call volume, boasting 134 calls at 27 arrests.

Okay then, why not punish those clubs that seem to foster an environment that brews trouble, or fails to provide adequate security? Suspend their licenses, impose punishments upon them, but why apply that same measure to all of Hattiesburg’s clubs? For every Remington’s or Roper’s, there are several other responsibly managed nightclubs in Hattiesburg that have relatively few problems.

While we’re at it, let’s ask the Hattiesburg Police Department

Page 9 why it is that not one single arrest was made after 129 calls to Remington’s. Perhaps our city leadership should investigate the possibility that our city government may have its own shortcomings.

Let’s consider the other problems that this idea presents. There is no reason to believe that closing bars at midnight instead of 2 a.m. will curtail violence. In fact, the effect could be worse for public safety.

The extra two hours gives people who may consume alcoholic beverages earlier in the night time to sober up. But many people who drink will not stop at 10 p.m.; for many, that’s the time they start.

Closing at midnight will only mean that there will be more impaired drivers on the road at a time when traffic is already heavier.

The City of Hattiesburg should look into ways to respond to violence, prevent it in the future, and punish nightclubs that do not properly work to ensure safety.

But let’s not do something just for the sake of looking like we’re doing something. Let’s take steps that will actually make strides towards solving the problem.

Loyal but mad about parking Dear Dr. Saunders: I am pleased to attend The University of Southern Mississippi under your presidency. I am looking forward to the next few years at this monumental university and the wonderful events it has in store.

Since being accepted into The University of Southern Mississippi, I have felt that my input would make a difference on how to better the school academically and physically.

So far attending USM has been an exciting and fun experience. With the campus being in the city of Hattiesburg, it gives me a more lively experience. It has shaped me to become a young responsible adult.

Anyhow, I would like to discuss the problems we students face with parking on campus.

As you may know, there are well over 3,000 students who have a car on campus. Even though there may be enough parking spaces available for these students with vehicles, there aren’t many convenient parking spaces. For example, a female student having to park in the gravel pit behind Hillcrest Hall and walk to Pulley Hall is very inconvenient. It can also be unsafe depending on the time. Let’s say you were this student; would you want to take this long walk by yourself?

After interviewing a few of my friends and other students who attend school here, we came up with a few ideas on how to anchor this situation. We suggest that some of the parking zones be changed or altered to better suit students as well as faculty. Even providing assigned parking spaces for each individual could solve some of the problems we students face. I have noticed that a parking garage has been under construction since the beginning of the semester. This may be the answer to our solution, but is it at a reasonable price for young college students?

Students show they can dance Michelle Holowach Printz Writer This weekend USM students will have the chance to witness the talent tucked within Southern Miss’s Dance Department.

Studio 115 Dance Concert, the second studio dance concert of the fall semester, opens at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2. It will be held in Dance Studio 115 in the Theater and Dance Building.

Tickets are $6 for students and $15 for the general public. The concert will run again on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and on Sunday afternoon there will be a 2:00 matinee.

“I feel like this is a really strong dance concert,” said Cheryl Cornacchione, a senior dance performance and choreographer major.

“This is one of the best Studio 115 concerts we’ve had in a while.

There is a lot of variety.”

Dance majors have been working hard since the beginning of the semester to choreograph and produce this concert. The dances are choreographed by juniors and seniors and performed by members of USM’s Repertoire Dance Company. About 30 students make up the RDC, and according to Cornacchione, the standards for RDC are very high.

“It’s basically to help train the dancers to become professionals,” Cornacchione said. “You really have to go above and beyond.”

Only the best dancers make it into the RDC, and upon making the company, they start working right away. Dancers have been in rehearsals three hours a week in preparation for the concert since the beginning of the semester.

“The second day of classes we held auditions for the Repertoire Dance Company and then rehearsals started right away,” said Stacy Reischman, Director of Dance at USM. “So we have been working since school began.”

Reischman said that it had been a long process, but that she looked forward to seeing it all come together this weekend. “The dances in particular over the course of the semester have really grown and changed,” she said. “These choreographers really followed their creative processes. I’ve enjoyed watching them change and grow.”

The show is overseen by dance faculty but is completely produced, performed, and choreographed by dance students. The concert will feature six dances performed by the 30 members of the RDC. All of the dances are group dances.

Eagles look forward to bowl game Jonathan Andrews Printz Writer The Golden Eagles will appear in their 14th bowl game in 15 seasons as they head to St. Petersburg, Fla. to play against the No. 5 team in the Big East Conference.

The opponent the team will face at the Nov. 21 contest has yet to be decided, but both Scout.com and ESPN.com predict the opponent to be the University of South Florida (6-4, 3-3).

The Golden Eagles go into this game 8-4 (5-3 Conf. USA) ranked 15th in the nation in total offense.

They’ve averaged 458 yards and 37.6 points per game this season.

At a press conference Wednesday, Head Coach Larry Fedora predicted that his team, even through the adversity they have faced this season, will be ready for whatever opponent they face.

“One thing this team has done this season is persevere,” Fedora said.

Fedora said he has spoken to Martez Smith, Tim Green and Deddrick Jones and all three have expressed interest in attending the bowl game.

As to whether any of the three will be ready to play next season, “We’re not that far along yet,” Fedora said, referring to their recovery process.

Junior defensive back Cameron O’Neal said it can be quiet at practices without those three teammates but players on the team have begun to replicate the energy they bring.

“We have had some guys step up and bring that same enthusiasm to the field,” O’Neal said.

In addition, injuries have been a problem for the team this season who has had to look to young players to step up and make plays.

“Injuries are frustrating because you see the team’s potential,” Fedora said, “but you also get to see how these young guys can contribute.”

Wide receiver Quentin Pierce said he was glad to be going to a different venue than the Superdome. The Golden Eagles have been to the New Orleans Bowl for the past two years, coming out of both

of those appearances with victories.

Pierce said he and the team are glad to have the different scenery that St. Petersburg will provide them to play in. They hope that their successes from the season will carry over into this game “but we just need to keep practicing.”

“We’re just ready to play somebody,” said Pierce, who isn’t holding a grudge from the team’s heartbreaking loss to Louisville last year.

Fedora said the change of venue will be good not only for the team but for fans as well. He commended fans on their ability to come to games and support the team.

Fedora encouraged fans to bring friends and carpool to St. Petersburg.

“I know we’re going to have great representation. We always do at bowl games,” Fedora said.

“Take the family down to St. Petersburg to enjoy the warm weather out there,” he added.

Tickets to the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl are $20 for students and $30 for the general public.
