This is the story of your triplets. We all grew side by side and chin to chin.
You jiggled and wriggled inside mom's tum,

We were peaceful, the quieter ones.

You couldn't wait to be set free, but we had other plans, you see.

We were angels, not meant for earth, but sent to keep you safe till birth.

And when you had grown big and strong, it was time for us to move along.

We whispered gently: It's OK to cry, Even though we cannot stay, We'll still be with you every day.

The time has come for us to go, but we love you more than you'll ever know.

We are the brightest stars in the night sky,

butterflies flapping way up high.

We are the dancing summer breeze,

and the golden autumn leaves.

We are the sand that tickles your toes,

and the sun that kisses your nose.

We are the sparkle in your eye,

and the salty tears you cry.

We are the dimple in your cheek,

and your grubby little feet.

We are the soft curl of your hair,

and the depth of your twinkly-eyed stare.

We are the gurgle in your laughter,

We are ... your forever after.
Your triplets we'll always be, For we are you and you are us. So when you feel sad or just a bit blue, take a moment and think of us.

Look in the mirror and right on cue, we'll be smiling back at you.
