The reggae icon always showed his stance in defense of the cannabis plant. Bob Marley always related the cannabis plant to the process of >inding oneself. He was talking about the connection between nature and all living things. His message emphasized the interest of governments in criminalizing the plant and its users for their respective purposes. It promoted social education about the plant and all its bene>its. Bob Marley currently represents a >igure of struggle, love, and overstanding. Not only for the plant but for ourselves, nature, and our planet. Bob loved life and music. He dedicated himself to writing about peace, love, and social brotherhood. For the cannabis community, Bob Marley is our greatest representative. Although there are currently great >igures who also represent cannabis, everyone admires Bob Marley and pays tribute to him. Bob’s music set the standard for all music: history, present & past. His family and his music are the artist's greatest legacy as they continue to breathe life into the healing of the nations. Today Bob continues to inspire millions of people and his family continues to spread his message and promote education about the plant and its uses. In 2014 his family joined a private company to launch a line of cannabis products with his image, “Marley Natural”. Both his family and the company support various causes that are at the core of the values that Marley fostered. Without a doubt Bob Marley will always be a very important >igure in the cannabis community and in reggae music.

Its essence has been an inspiration for many artists and bands in Latin America and the world. Artists like Boris Bilbraut, Cultura Profé tica, Los Cafres and La Celestina are just a few of those that have continued to carry the message of peace and union between races, against social inequality and above all love for plants and nature. Currently there are a number of artists who defend and are in favor of the legalization of cannabis. Snoop Dogg, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Barack Obama, Morgan Freeman, and an ever-growing list. The truth is that every day we have more and more people who prove false the terrible myth that cannabis makes people lazy and irresponsible. What is your Bob Marley favorite song?
"Marijuana is the healing of a nation while alcohol is its destruction" _BOB MARLEY
