HAPPY HOLIDAYS & MERRY CHRISTMAS!
El Regalo de Dar 2020 First off, I want to give a special thanks to all the volunteers, affiliates and shelters that participated in “El Regalo de Dar 2020. This event has been one of the most challenging and at the same time most gratifying experiences ever. Basically, we began to work on this abstract idea for El Regalo de Dar 2020 in July of this same year. At the beginning we thought that we had bitten off more than we could chew. However, as the months began to pass and the due date approached, surprisingly people started to reach out and bit by bit started to cooperate with us. Along this journey I met some beautiful and very spectacular human beings and even though we faced some obstacles along the way we manage to reach our goals. The main purpose behind this event is to raise awareness of the importance of giving to others without expecting something in return. We expect people to learn about the gift of giving to someone in need and when you always do good, life is going to treat you great. Stay tune for El Regalo de Dar 2021, we will be expecting a lot of help from every one of you.
Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year! -

El Regalo de Dar 2020 Testimonies
“I am completely surprise and grateful with the results of #ElRegaloDeDar2020. I knew that we were going to be successful & blessed, but I did not expect all the donations and help that we received throughout this whole adventure. Honestly, it was worth the rollercoaster of emotions and sacrifices that were made to get this charity event done. Also, a special thank you to all the elves, affiliates and anonymous helpers that participated and invested time on #ElRegaloDeDar2020, YOU GUYS ROCK. Finally, I want to invite everyone to participate on #ElRegaloDeDar2021 and all of the years to come.” - Leslie Ann DF (@legalmentexplorando)
“Since high school I was involved in all activities related to community services and giving back to the community. However, in 2019 I decided to take a short break because I was on the wonderful journey of becoming a mom. On the other hand, #ElRegaloDeDar2020 gave me the opportunity to get back to my community service roots and let me tell you guys that it felt awesome. The entire process of preparation for this event was entirely fulfilling and I am grateful for everyone who help us make this possible. My goal is to make this type of community services a family tradition so that my beautiful daughter can carry it on for the year to come. This is merely the beginning of a life changing project so; I hope to see everyone pump for #ElRegaloDeDar2021.” -

“I am so grateful of meeting Leslie, because of her I got to participated in this awesome event. It was a wonderful and fulfilling experience. Every time we arrived at a shelter my heart and my soul completely melted with the wonderful people I got to meet. However, one shelter touched me the most, “EL Nuevo Hogar” for Boys in Adjuntas. This shelter is only for boys under seven years old and they barely received any government funds or help from the communities. That is one of the main reasons why I decided to include them on the 2nd phase of the event. In summary, I am looking forward to El Regalo de Dar 2021 because we are going to keep spreading holiday love and cheer!” -
