420 - World Cannabis Day Every cannabis consumer should know that April 20 is the international day of celebration for marijuana/ cannabis/ weed/ pot/ herb; or whatever you prefer to call it. It is almost impossible for the reference to go unnoticed since the number 420 is virtually on every cannabis related product everywhere. The origin of the tradition is uncertain: but for #hempgirls.420, “The Waldos” started it. Legend has it, that they were a group of students who met at 4:20 every day to smoke. Nobody knows the truth for sure, though the tradition of celebrating and fighting for consumer rights exists and is wonderful. There are many festivals around the world both to celebrate proudly and reward the great variety of existing products. Although in recent years cannabis has taken a boom, cannabis still has a long way to go and we can’t forget the global challenges we are facing with Covid awareness & prevention. Still we get together to share our love for the plant at festivals like: -Festival Stepping High An art and culture festival held in Jamaica. The situation in Jamaica is not very comfortable for consumers. And the covid has aggravated it in the last year. This is why the festival of music, art, food, education and exhibitions has been indefinitely canceled. -420Valpo A festival celebrated in Chile. As a ceremony prior to the rally, the FreeJuana Foundation has awarded the most popular products of the Puerto Rico industry in its different categories. There are various activities in the community from dispensaries, educational fairs, and patient certifications. The events that have been affected by the pandemic have evolved and this coming April we will see them. Without a doubt this year will also be atypical in the celebration of events. It will be necessary to take the necessary measures but in any case 420 - World Cannabis Day must be celebrated in the company of people with good vibes always ... Stay tuned.
