PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III said Thursday the government is considering an odd-even scheme to drastically reduce the volume of traffic in Metro Manila by keeping half of
them off the streets. “The most radical [proposal to solve the traffic problem] for me is to cut into half the number of vehicles traveling—with an alternate travel through an odd and even scheme every week,” Aquino said in a speech before the Rizal Technological University.
