OUSE prosecutors on Tuesday dropped lawyer Zuleika Lopez, chief of staff of the Office of the Vice President, and Capt. Belinda Bello as witnesses in the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, saying their would-be testimonies had become “totally unnecessary and redundant” after four trial days.

PBBM popularity rating recovers—SWS By Katrina Manubay PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s net satisfaction rating improved from a record low in March, returning to the neutral range after more Filipinos expressed satisfaction and fewer claimed dissatisfaction with his performance, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
The SWS poll showed 38 percent (up from 33 percent) were satisfied with Marcos’s performance, while 17 percent (down from 18 percent) were undecided, and dissatisfaction decreased from 49 to 45 percent.
