THE Philippine National PoliceFirearms and Explosives Office yesterday revoked the firearms licenses of Senator Bato Dela Rosa, who is the subject of a manhunt amid an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity.

Senate stalemate deepens Minority: Coup push on; Majority: Pursue remote vote

HERE is no immediate resolution in sight to the Senate impasse over a proposal to allow remote participation and voting, with both the majority and minority blocs taking a hardline stance on their respective positions on the issue with a little over a week to go before Congress adjourns sine die on June 6.

PAG-IBIG raises housing loan amount to P10m PAG-IBIG Fund has raised its maximum housing loan amount per borrower to P10 million, providing middle-income and higher-earning Filipino workers access to affordable long-term home financing, particularly in Metro Manila and other highly urbanized areas, top officials announced on May 26. The higher loan ceiling complements the program’s ongoing subsidized 3% housing loan rate for qualified buyers of socialized housing, enabling Pag-IBIG Fund to serve more members seeking homes beyond the socialized housing segment through affordable long-term financing.
