HE Senate adjourned early on Tuesday after minority senators walked out of the plenary session to protest a majority bloc attempt to amend legislative rules for remote participation and electronic voting.
Their departure deprived the chamber of the quorum required to conduct official business, prompting Senate leaders to suspend proceedings and adjourn until 5 p.m. on Monday, June 1.
