WITH NEW ADMIN ALLIANCE, SAYS ANALYST

CORAL DUMPING LINKED TO CHINA

THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) expressed concern on Saturday over the dumping of crushed corals near Escoda (Sabina) Shoal, raising the possibility of a link to China’s potential construction plans in the West Philippine Sea.

PCG spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea Commodore Jay Tarriela made this statement while reporting that more than 30 Chinese militia boats, along with China’s research ships, Navy vessels, and a helicopter, were spotted near Escoda Shoal.

“These are also the Chinese maritime militia vessels that we have seen in the area of Escoda Shoal. Approximately, more than 30 Chinese maritime militia who swarmed here are not leaving and the Philippine Coast Guard continues to document in case they have activities.,” Tarriela said in a Saturday news forum in Quezon City.

Tarriela mentioned research by University of the Philippines (UP) marine scientists led by Dr. Jonathan Anticamara, showing that sandbars at Sandy Cay were growing bigger.

However, Tarriela stressed that at Escoda Shoal, these activities are just beginning.

Tarriela pointed out that China uses corals as “pantambak (landfill)” for building islands. “That means they have to kill all the corals, as many corals as possible,

for them to use that as a foundation for their island reclamation,” he explained.

“So, if we say that this dumping of coral they did on Sandy Cay has allowed them to expand this land area, surface area as an artificial island then, most likely, if we don’t monitor this and keep an eye on it, we might just be surprised in the coming months that in Sabina Shoal, the islands they made here are also getting bigger,” Tarriela said.

“But again, the other problem here is this: What they use as fill material in these areas are corals. So, that means, they have to kill all the corals as many as pos sible for them to be able to use that as a foundation for their island rec lamation,” he added.

Tarriela further ensured PCG’s con tinued monitoring of said ships to ob serve China’s activ ity in the area.

CHINESE ‘WIRETAPPING’ A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO MUDDLE WPS ISSUE, SAYS HOUSE LEADER

A HOUSE leader has condemned the reported wiretapping of the conversation between Chinese and Philippine officials regarding the “new model agreement” on the Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea as a desperate attempt to muddle the issue.

Deputy Majority Leader and Tingog Rep. Jude Acidre empha -

sized the need for a thorough investigation into the origins and motives behind the alleged wiretapping incident earlier exposed by Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro.

Why do they appear? This kind of misinformation or wiretapping? It goes to shows that this is an act of desperation, what, to muddle the entire issue,” Acidre pointed out.

Deputy Majority Leader and

Isabela 6th District Rep. Faustino Dy V called the alleged wiretapping incident as a breach of trust and a violation of Philippine laws.

Dy echoed Teodoro’s sentiments, stressing that whoever is responsible for the wiretapping or recording of the conversation should face consequences for their actions.

Those responsible for wiretapping or recording this conversa -

tion if it happened, they should be expelled or deported from our country or they should answer to our laws because what they did is illegal,” Dy said.

Regarding the next steps, Dy deferred to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to handle the investigation.

“Again, I will leave it to our DFA on how to proceed the investigation on this matter,” he said.

A PROFESSOR from the University of the Philippines on Saturday said that the opposition, including Liberal Party, may consider joining administration’s senatorial slate in 2025 should its members find “points of unity” with the newly announced Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas.

Dr. Edna Co, a former dean at the UP National College of Public Administration and Governance, said politics in the Philippines is about formation of alliances and coalitions.

“Politics, generally, is not about drawing lines, but of coalitions of alliances of parties and other potential political players to increase chances of winning,” she said, adding that political parties in the Philippines do not operate in the same way that parties do in other countries.

Co said that while there are many political parties in the country, they are not distinct parties “in substance” and are more similar to each other than they are different.

“They are looking for ways to merge and unite. The goal is ‘how do we win?’ but they are not a political party in substance — it’s all very fluid,” she said.

Co stressed that the LP, which used to be a ruling party, may find several points of unity with the Marcos administration, including on foreign policy. She said that the LP and the Marcos administration have agreed on issues like sovereignty in the West Philippine Sea.

GOV’T AGENCIES WORKING CASH

THREE government agencies are now determining the best index to use for the automatic adjustment of cash grants of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is working with the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in trying to find the best index to use for the automatic

adjustment of the dole outs.

“I would like to reiterate what Social Welfare Secretary Rex Gatchalian said that adjusting the cash grants of 4Ps beneficiaries is not just timely but that it also preserves the value of the grants,” Assistant

Secretary for Disaster Response Management Irene Dumlao said.

Dumlao, who is concurrently the department’s spokesperson, explained that working with NEDA and PSA is important in order for the DSWD to come up with the right amount to make sure the 4Ps grants will be able to cushion the spikes caused by inflation.

The inflation rate has inched to 3.8 percent in April from 3.7 percent in March.

Early this year, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr directed the DSWD, NEDA and PSA to study the current cash

assistance given to indigents and recipients of the 4Ps to make these more responsive to economic shocks.

“Part of the directive of the President is for the DSWD, NEDA and PSA to come up with a proposal to ensure that the cash grants are responsive to present socio-economic conditions and automatically adjusted even without legislation,” Dumlao said.

The 4Ps is the national poverty reduction strategy and human capital investment program of the Philippine government and currently caters to 4.4 million household-beneficiaries nationwide.

ADJUSTMENTS FOR 4PS BENEFICIARIES DA REPORTS AGRI DAMAGE TO EL NIÑO CLIMBS TO P6.3B

THE damage to agriculture brought by El Niño has reached P6.3 billion, according to Department of Agriculture (DA) Assistant Secretary and spokesperson Arnel De Mesa.

“The largest (damage) is still in the rice sector at P3.3 billion, followed by corn at P1.9 billion, and our high-value commercial crops at P1 billion,” De Mesa said during a Saturday news forum in Quezon City.

“If we look at our projection of losses due to El Niño, when PAGASA told us that there will be an El Niño, we estimated that around 120,000 hectares would be damaged. The latest report shows it’s around 60,000,” he added.

According to the DA, the most significant damage reported was in Region IV-B (Mimaropa), totaling P1.7 billion, followed by Region VI (Western Visayas) at P1.5 billion, and the Cordillera Administrative Region at nearly P800 million.

He added that the accumulated loss of 100,000 metric tons in rice crop production due to the drought has been significantly smaller compared to the damages caused by tropical storms, which range from 500,000 to 600,000 metric tons.

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian meanwhile urged local government units (LGUs) and community leaders to be vigilant in preventing fire incidents due to the El Niño phenomenon.

FILIPINO LECTURER IS NAMED PRESIDENT OF ROTARY CLUB IN VIETNAM

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam–A Filipino has been named as president of the Rotary Club of Saigon International (RCSI). John Bayarong is a lecturer at the RMIT University in the city. His appointment made history because he is the first Filipino club president in the rich but abbreviated history of the organization in Vietnam. The first Rotary Club was chartered in Vietnam 1952, but the Rotary Club ceased all operations in 1975 after the victory of the resistance against America. In its place, clubs based abroad took the cudgel of continuing to address social concerns by working with national and local public institutions.

THE Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOSTPHIVOLCS) has officially opened the PHIVOLCS Visayas Cluster Monitoring Center for Earthquake and Tsunami in San Fernando municipality in South Cebu Province.

DOST Secretary Renato Solidum, Jr. said that the monitoring center cost P15 million, excluding the cost to operate the state-of-the-art facility located in Purok 11-Santan, Barangay North Poblacion, GMA News reported.

The facility is part of the agency’s initiatives to monitor earthquakes and tsunamis.

According to Solidum, the facility will help monitor fault lines in the Visayas, especially in Cebu. The center has real-time display and monitoring of tremors and tsunamis using the Philippine Seismic Network. Aside from its capacity to monitor quakes in neighboring nations, it can also monitor volcanic activities.

AIRPORT AUTHORITY COMMENDS MED TEAM FOR SAVING PASSENGER

THE Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has commended its Medical Response Team for saving the life of a passenger at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport - Terminal 3 on Friday.

MIAA General Manager Eric Ines said an elderly passenger was unresponsive but breathing when the team arrived at the pre-departure area.

Led by Dr. Blesylda Tatad Busto, along with nurses and assistants, the team administered necessary emergency procedures to revive the patient. The patient was given five liters of oxygen per minute and immediately rushed to Makati Medical Center using an MIAA ambulance, accompanied by her family.

The passenger and her family were waiting to board a domestic flight when the incident occurred.  Ines commended his team, saying “Great work for our Medical Response Teams. That was a good response by our Duty T3 Medical Team.”

Dr. Busto and her team are scheduled to receive recognition during MIAA’s June flag-raising ceremony.

Ines assured the public that the MIAA emergency services teams are on alert 24/7 to respond to any emergency within the NAIA complex.  Joel E. Zurbano

THOUSANDS IN AGRI

SECTOR JOIN HARVEST FESTIVAL IN ALBAY

AT LEAST 10,000 farmers, fisherfolks and livestock raisers in Albay participated in the “Agri-Fiesta” now in its fifth year at the Albay Farmers’ Bounty Village in Cabagnan, Camalig, Albay this week.

They brought with them their biggest, longest and heaviest produce of banana, ampalaya, eggplant, langka (jackfruit), squash and watermelon for the “pinaka” contest which is one of the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) ways of enjoining farmers to participate in such events already being held in provinces across the country.

The peculiar contest called “ngarab-ngaban” mais (corn eating contest) which is a test of endurance of the teeth by eating three pieces of boiled sweet corn in two minutes and the “mani ko baluka mo” (manually cracking peanut) brought a barrel of laughs as men and women contestants tested their skills.

RCSI, in its website, said that “with the chartering of RCSI and its twin club, the Rotary Club of Saigon (RCS), Rotary International is now able to maximize support by tapping the assistance of clubs around the world.”

“Credit to the government for legislating a social enterprise registration that allowed our club to be recognized. They understood that international service organizations are willing to work with them, hand in hand, to support their programs however we can,” Bayarong explained, noting that in just two years, five clubs were chartered nationwide.

Edgar Alba of Guinobatan, Albay won P2000 cash prize after finishing three corns. His secret: do not drink water while eating the corn especially when in a hurry or in a contest.

RODRIGUEZ BATS FOR SELF-REGULATION IN PROPOSED CHARTER CHANGE

REP. Rufus Rodriguez of Cagayan de Oro said selfregulation in the advertising industry would remain under the proposed amendments to restrictive economic provisions of the Constitution.

Rodriguez made the statement in the wake of concerns aired by stakeholders during the Senate hearing on the amendment proposals last Thursday.

On Thursday, Ad Standards Council legal counsel Rudolph Jularbal said foreign ownership would not be a problem as long as self regulation in the local ad sector remains in place.

He said technology transfer is another factor that would enhance the operation of such an entity.

MANIBELA OFFICIALS FACE CRIMINAL RAPS OVER PROTESTS

A CRIMINAL complaint has been filed against officials of the transport group Samahang Manibela Mananakay at Nagkaisang Terminal ng Transportasyon or Manibela for their protest action last May 6 against the government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program. The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) disclosed this on Saturday, noting that it filed the complaint against Manibela chairperson Mar Valbuena and two others.

In its complaint, QCPD said Valbuena and two others committed “grave public inconvenience and disturbance” for holding a rally outside the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City without having secured a permit from the local government.

The QCPC said in a statement said the action committed by Valbuena and his cohorts constitutes a violation of Batas Pambansa 880 or the Public Assembly Act of 1985. The QCPD also said Manibela violated Article 155 of the Revised Penal Code or alarm and scandal, and Article 151 of the Revised Penal Code or resistance and disobedience.

Similar charges were filed by the QCPD against Manibela last month for their alleged “disruptive behavior” during a two-day strike held in April at Welcome Rotonda in Quezon City. Maricel V. Cruz RESORT FILES SUIT AGAINST PANGLAO MAYOR

FOR HARASSMENT

Rodriguez, who chairs the committee on constitutional amendments of the House of Representatives, said under the Charter change resolutions, foreign ownership of advertising companies may be altered by Congress from the present 70 percent Filipino and 30 percent foreign.

He said as long as self-regulation “is functional, regardless of the ownership of advertising agencies, content will be regulated effectively.”

“We are focused on the ownership issue. There is no plan to disturb whatever internal arrangement that exists in the ad industry like self-regulation. I will not support any proposal to change that,” he said.

Rodriguez disagreed with another Senate resource person that foreign ownership does not add value to an ad agency.

“The infusion of additional funds to a business organization, whether in the ad industry or any other sector of the economy, always adds value to that entity,” he said.

A third would be the availability of foreign human resources or expertise in case it is needed, he said.

Some Senate witnesses also raised concerns about editorial independence and advertisers dictating content.

Rodriguez said editorial independence would be left to the best judgment of ad agencies.

“We will not interfere with editorial judgment,” he said.

As to the content of an advertisement, that matter is left to the discretion of both the advertiser and his ad agency, he said.

DSWD TO DIGITIZE LICENSING, ACCREDITATION OF SOCIAL WELFARE AGENCIES

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will soon accept applications for registration, licensing, and accreditation (RLA) of social welfare development agencies (SWDAs) through an online platform, an agency official said.

DSWD Standards Bureau assistant director Cynthia Ilano told reporters that the initiative is anchored on one of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s 10-point socioeconomic agenda which calls for the digitalization of government processes and operations.

Through the Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System (HELPS), Ilano said SWDAs can submit their requirements and monitor the status of their applications in real time.

“In the HELPS, ang gagawin nalang po natin ay lahat ng (all we are going to do is all) applications, magiging (will be) online. Currently, traditional ang ginagawa natin (is what we are doing). Meaning, ang mga (the) SWDAs need to come here (DSWD Central Office) or sa ating (in our) Field Offices to submit the requirements and we will process traditionally.. manualy. This is also in support of the agenda of President Marcos,” Ilano said.

This innovation is also attuned to one of the seven priority programs and initiatives of the DSWD, the Paspas Serbisyo Program, which is one of the innovations under the administration of Secretary Rex Gatchalian.

The Paspas Serbisyo program aims to streamline, reengineer, automate, digitalize, and centralize the current regulatory programs of the DSWD.

EXEC SAYS DOH ‘RESPECTS’ OMBUDSMAN DECISION TO FILE CASE AGAINST DUQUE

THE Department of Health (DOH) respects the decision of the Office of the Ombudsman to file graft charges against former DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III over the alleged irregular transfer of more than P41 billion for COVID-19 supplies procurement in 2020, DOH spokesperson Albert Domingo said.  Graft charges were also recommended against former Department of Budget and Management Undersecretary Christopher Lao in connection with the allegedly anomalous pandemic deals, GMA News reported.

The Ombudsman also found Duque and Lao guilty of grave misconduct, gross neglect of duty, and

conduct prejudicial to the service. Senator Risa Hontiveros said she welcomes the Ombudsman’s decision.

Three years ago, the Blue Ribbon Committee held marathon hearings on the Duterte administration’s allegedly anomalous medical supplies procurement.

“I would like to thank the Ombudsman for faithfully fulfilling its mandate to seek justice, especially in cases involving misappropriation of public funds and anomalies in procurement,” Hontiveros in a statement said.

The senator added that the latest development also served as a “vic-

tory” for the public who were betrayed during the health crisis.

“This is for the people who had to survive with limited assistance during the pandemic. This is also special to the healthcare workers who had to endure everything because of the delayed special allowance and hazard pay while billions of pesos were used to favor a company like Pharmally,” Hontiveros said.

The Ombudsman investigation on Duque and Lao stemmed from the complaint filed by Hontiveros and former Senator Richard  Gordon, and a Commission on Audit report in 2020.  In a 49-page resolution dated May

6 but released on Friday, the Ombudsman flagged the DOH’s transfer of P41.46 billion to Lao’s DBM Procurement Services office.

The Ombudsman also noted that the DOH could have purchased directly from suppliers of COVID-19 supplies and equipment.

“The illegal, unjustified, and unwarranted transfer of funds caused the consequent imposition of service fees that effectively removed a sizeable amount of money intended for the purchase of PPEs, test kits, and other COVID-essential goods requested by medical facilities and DOH offices and bureaus,” the resolution read.

PANGLAO ISLAND, BOHOL— The Villa Tomasa-Alona Kew Hotel Resort management has taken legal action against Panglao Mayor Edgardo Arcay and others for allegedly harassing and forcibly seizing the resort in April this year.

In a statement handed over to Manila Standard, the resort management said its legal team has filed criminal and civil cases against individuals responsible and warned against entering into any agreements related to the property without their knowledge.

“We are dismayed by the alleged use of excessive force during the resort takeover, causing trauma to our 300 employees and shocking tourists. We have filed a case against those involved amid having been repeatedly denied a business permit,” the statement said.

Seeking justice, they call on government agencies like the Department of Interior Local Government (DILG) to address the situation seriously, emphasizing the need to protect both the resort owners and employees, especially as there are still four years left on a 5-year lease agreement, they said. PANGASINAN SHOWCASES FOOD IN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

PANGASINAN has joined the International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines as a province for the first time to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) acquire a bigger market, especially in other countries.

Ten Pangasinan SMEs will be at World Trade Center in Pasay City until Sunday, with food products such as deboned and processed bangus (milkfish) in various flavors, fish and chicken karage (deep-fried and marinated), natural sugarcane vinegar, processed organic herbs, processed catfish products, carabao dairy products, and bagoong (fermented fish paste) products.

“These are well-chosen to give them the edge among the exhibitors at this expo,” Pangasinan Provincial Administrator Melicio Patague II said in an interview over the weekend.

Among them are naturally fermented sugarcane vinegar products by Dimalupig & Gabrielle Food Products Manufacturing of Pozzorubio town. Founder Glaiza Velasco said their raw materials are sourced from farmlands in their town.

“We are renting out a farmland to ensure sufficient supply of locally grown sugarcane, which we ferment for about two to three months until we get its desired acidity,” she said.

FIRST ‘EXTREME’ SOLAR STORM IN 20 YEARS STRIKES EARTH

The most powerful solar storm in more than two decades struck Earth on Friday, triggering spectacular celestial light shows from Tasmania to Britain —and threatening possible disruptions to satellites and power grids as it persists into the weekend.

The first of several coronal mass ejections (CMEs) -- expulsions of plasma and magnetic fields from the

Sun—came just after 1600 GMT, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)’s Space Weather Prediction Center.

It was later upgraded to an “extreme” geomagnetic storm—the first since the “Halloween Storms” of October 2003 caused blackouts in Sweden and damaged power infrastructure in South Africa. More CMEs are expected to pummel the planet in the coming days.

Social media lit up with people posting pictures of auroras from northern Europe and Australasia.

“We’ve just woken the kids to go watch the Northern Lights in the back garden! Clearly visible with the naked eye,” Iain Mansfield in Hertford, England, told AFP.

That sense of wonder was shared in Australia’s island state of Tasmania.

FRENCH ART GROUP USES BRAINWAVES AND AI

TO RECREATE LANDSCAPES

THE hypercolor image of a dark hill and lava flow is pretty enough -- but its high-tech artificial intelligence origins make it special.

It is the product of the brainwaves of one member of French art collective Obvious, collected in an MRI machine at the Brain Institute of the Pitie Salpetriere hospital in Paris.

“I was thinking very hard about a volcano,” said Pierre Fautrel, one of the trio.

He admits the resulting work was not exactly what he had in mind, “but it has kept the basic elements: a flaming mountain with flowing lava and a landscape on a light background”.

The trio of thirty-somethings, Fautrel, Hugo Caselles-Dupre and Gauthier Vernier, already gained international attention in 2018 by selling an AI-generated artwork at Christie’s in New York for more than 400,000 euros.

For the latest project, “Mind to Image”, they used an open-source program, MindEye, which is able to retrieve and reconstruct viewed images from brain activity, combining it with their own AI program to create artworks.

They tried two different versions -- one in which they looked at pictures and tried to replicate them simply through their brainwaves captured in the MRI. AFP

“Absolutely biblical skies in Tasmania at 4am this morning. I’m leaving today and knew I could not pass up this opportunity,” photographer Sean O’ Riordan posted on social media platform X alongside a photo.

Authorities notified satellite operators, airlines and the power grid to take precautionary steps for potential disruptions caused by changes to Earth’s magnetic field.

Unlike solar flares, which travel at the speed of light and reach Earth in around eight minutes, CMEs travel at a more sedate pace, with officials putting the current average at 800 kilometers (500 miles) per second.

The CMEs emanated from a massive sunspot cluster that is 17 times wider than our planet. The Sun is approaching the peak of an 11-year cycle that brings heightened activity. AFP

HUNDREDS EVACUATED FROM KHARKIV AFTER RUSSIAN ATTACK

HUNDREDS of people were evacuated from areas near the Russian border in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, the regional governor said Saturday, a day after Moscow launched a surprise ground offensive.

Russian forces made small advances in the area it was pushed back from nearly two years ago, the latest in a series of gains as Ukrainian forces find themselves outgunned and outmanned.

“A total of 1,775 people have been evacuated,” Kharkiv governor Oleg Synegubov wrote on social media. He reported Russian artillery and mortar attacks on 30 settlements over the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said a “fierce battle” was under way in Kharkiv.

“We must disrupt Russian offensive operations and return the initiative to Ukraine,” Zelensky said on Saturday.

The Kharkiv region has been mostly under Ukrainian control since September 2022.

A senior Ukrainian military source said Russian forces had advanced one kilometer (0.6 miles) into Ukraine and were trying to “create a buffer zone” in the Kharkiv and neighboring Sumy regions to prevent attacks on Russian territory.

Ukrainian forces have multiplied attacks inside Russia and Russianheld areas of Ukraine, particularly on energy infrastructure.

On Saturday, Moscow-installed authorities in the Russian-occupied Lugansk region in eastern Ukraine said three people were killed by

a Ukrainian strike with US-made missiles on an oil depot.

Governor Leonid Pasechnik said the strike “enveloped the oil depot in fire and damaged surrounding homes”.

“The death toll has risen to three and eight more people are in hospital,” he said on social media.

Officials in Kyiv had warned for weeks that Moscow might try to attack its northeastern border regions, pressing its advantage as Ukraine struggles with delays in Western aid and manpower shortages.

Ukraine’s military said it had deployed more troops, and Zelensky said Ukrainian forces were using artillery and drones to thwart the Russian advance. AFP

FORMER PERU PRESIDENT FUJIMORI SAYS HE HAS TONGUE CANCER

FORMER Peruvian president Alberto Fujimori, released from prison in December after serving 16 years for crimes against humanity, said on Friday he had been diagnosed with a malignant tongue tumor.

President from 1990 to 2000, Fujimori has been in poor health and was freed for humanitarian reasons after only serving part of his 25-year sentence.

Fujimori, now 85, was sent to prison in 2009 over massacres committed by army death squads in 1991 and 1992 in which 25 people, including a child, were killed in supposed anti-terrorist operations.

“Now that I’ve regained my freedom, I face a new battle,” Fujimori said in a video posted on social media platform X. Fujimori has undergone surgery several times for a cancerous lesion on his tongue and also suffered from a lung tumor reported in 2018, as well as heart problems.

“The results confirm a new tumor diagnosed as malignant. So, I’m going to start treatment alongside my family,” Fujimori said. AFP

MORE THAN 200 DEAD IN AFGHANISTAN FLASH FLOODS—UN

FLASH floods that have ripped through northern Afghanistan left more than 200 people dead in a single province, the United Nations said on Saturday.

More than 200 people were killed and thousands of houses were destroyed or damaged in Baghlan province when heavy rains on Friday sparked massive flooding, the UN’s International Organization for Migration told AFP. In Baghlani Jadid district alone, up to 1,500 homes were damaged or destroyed and “more than 100 people died”, an IOM emergency response lead said, citing figures from the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority. Taliban government officials said 62 people had died as of Friday night. AFP

DEAD IN SUSPECTED INDONESIA TIGER ATTACK, HUNT ONGOING

A MAN has been found dead in western Indonesia after a suspected attack by a Sumatran tiger authorities were still hunting, a local official said Saturday, the latest case of conflict between humans and the critically endangered species.

There are only several hundred tigers on the western island of Sumatra left in the wild and they are often targeted by poachers for their body parts, while rampant deforestation has significantly reduced their habitat.

A team of conservationists was deployed to search for the big cat on Saturday after the 26-yearold male victim was found dead at a plantation in Riau province on Sumatra island on Thursday afternoon with wounds indicating a tiger attack.

“Our team has left this morning (to search for the tiger). Based on the report, the area is within the tiger habitat,” local conservation agency head Genman Suhefti Hasibuan told AFP Saturday. AFP

GOTYME BANK ACQUIRES TOP

SALARY LENDER TO BOOST PAYROLL OFFERINGS

HOMEGROWN fintech firm GoTyme Bank has acquired top salary lender SAVii through its major shareholders, JG Summit and Tyme Group. The merger strengthens GoTyme’s payroll-based financial products.

“This acquisition enables us to drive our strategy of deepening customer relationships by offering payroll and financial products that benefit both employees and their employers,” said GoTyme Bank president and CEO Nate Clarke.

The acquisition should speed up GoTyme’s growth and profitability. By combining SAVii’s salary lending experience with GoTyme’s existing offerings, they aim to capture a large share of the employed population.

GoTyme will add SAVii’s salary loan products to its existing earned wage access (EWA) feature. This creates a wider range of payroll-linked financial solutions for Filipino companies and their employees

The acquisition supports the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ goal of expanding lending. Filipinos will have a secure and convenient alternative to informal lenders.

With SAVii’s network of over 500,000 employees and 150 corporations, GoTyme is positioned to become a leader in payrollbased financial services.

Previously known as Uploan, SAVii has become the market leader for salary lending with a loan book of over P3 billion and serving more than 500,000 employees across 150 of the biggest Philippine corporations.

“For us at SAVii, salary is more than just take-home pay—it’s the safest vehicle to financial empowerment. Teaming up with GoTyme Bank was a clear and obvious path in our mission to assist individuals in accessing formal finance. We are excited with the opportunities it opens for our partner companies and their employees,” Grealish said.

RECYCLES 1 BILLION PET BOTTLES

PETValue Philippines, the country’s pioneering bottle-to-bottle recycling facility, has reached a significant milestone: recycling 1 billion used PET bottles, marking a major step forward in the collective fight against plastic pollution and in the Philippines’ transition towards a circular economy.

A joint venture between Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) and Indorama Ventures, PETValue plays a vital role in giving new life to clear PET plastic bottles. The facility transforms used bottles into food-grade recycled PET (rPET) for new bottles, effectively closing the loop on plastic packaging.

“We are immensely proud of PETValue’s journey in the country, because it plays a valuable part in a much bigger system that enables a ripple of collective action and sustainable solutions against plastic pollution,” says CCBPI president and CEO Gareth McGeown.

Located in General Trias, Cavite, the P2.28 billion PETValue facility while using the most advanced bottle-to-bottle PET recycling technology, also generated around 200 direct jobs, contributing to the local economy.

Reaching the 1 billion bottle mark underscores the importance of collaboration between communities and organizations committed to a greener future.

“PETValue Philippines is a crucial component in our shared goal of making a positive impact. This milestone marks a significant step towards a more robust waste management system in the Philippines, paving the way for a future built on circularity,” said ESG Council chairman at Indorama Ventures Yash Lohia.

HARVARD ALUMNUS DISRUPTS PH LOGISTICS SPACE

NINJA Van Philippines chief executive Vin Perez has overseen the company’s remarkable growth over the past six years. Balancing work and a personal life, Perez brings a unique perspective to the industry.

A graduate of UP Diliman’s Industrial Engineering program, Perez initially aimed for a global career. After obtaining his MBA at the Harvard Business School, he recognized the potential of Southeast Asia’s burgeoning e-commerce sector. This led him back to the Philippines in 2018, where he joined Ninja Van, which was then a third-party logistics startup with less than 100 riders.

Today, Ninja Van Philippines grew into a network of 6,000 to 8,000 riders, making it a major player in the logistics landscape.

E-commerce remains central to Ninja Van’s success, but the 34-year-old Perez is a constant innovator. Recognizing the inefficiency of businesses managing their own resupply logistics, he spearheaded the company’s expansion into B2B services.

One of the first B2B contracts Ninja Van landed into was that with PICKUP COFFEE Traditionally, the brand handle deliveries themselves, a time-consuming and resource-draining process. Ninja Van helped the cafe brand leverage its existing e-commerce network to streamline B2B deliveries.

Another successful partnership was with The Generics Pharmacy, a leading healthcare brand. Micromanaging the distribution system placed a huge burden on the brand. Ninja Van’s nationwide network stepped in as a game-changer, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of essential medication, ultimately improving healthcare access.

This approach has proven successful, with companies like PICKUP COFFEE and The Generics Pharmacy partnering with Ninja Van to optimize logistics. The company now actively engages with MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises) to help them overcome logistical hurdles and focus on core business functions.

Underserved areas

The rise of e-commerce has been particularly impactful in tier two and three cities, areas beyond major metropolitan centers. Perez acknowledges the challenges of delivering to these remote locations, yet he sees a tremendous opportunity.

Ninja Van’s expansion into these regions brings essential goods and services to a wider population, contributing to a more inclusive economy.

Perez emphasizes collaboration’s importance in the logistics industry as Ninja Van consistently pushes boundaries. The logistics firm became the first accredited courier partner for the Supreme Court, a pivotal achievement.

The partnership streamlined the delivery of critical legal documents, saving lawyers valuable time and expediting legal processes.

Future of logistics

With a keen eye on the future, Perez is exploring new ventures for Ninja Van. One initiative, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), involves teaming up with farmers to establish e-Bagsakan, online trading posts that connect them directly to retailers.

This could revolutionize the agricultural sector by ensuring better margins for farmers and fresher produce for consumers.

Perez’ journey with Ninja Van unveils his passion for innovation and his dedication to transforming the logistics landscape in the Philippines.

He acknowledges that the journey wasn’t without its challenges. There were missteps along the way, lessons learned through trial and error. But what truly defines Ninja Van’s success is the team’s unwavering resilience. They’ve embraced a culture of continuous improvement, learning from mistakes and adapting to overcome obstacles. IT’S a prevailing misconception that sports are only for the young.

The recent 2024 5Throws for All Philippine Masters Athletics Championships serves as a testament that age is no barrier to athletic achievement.

At 53, I found myself embarking on a new journey in athletics, something I never imagined possible at my age.

Encouraged by friends from NAMSAP, including directors Judith Staples and coach Edward Obiena, as well as president Drolly Claravall, I decided to take on the challenge of competing in my rst throwing event.

Under the guidance of Coach Eds (Obiena), uncle of pole vault ace EJ Obiena, I underwent just two training sessions before competing in the men’s javelin throw for the 50–54-year-old category.

To my surprise, I managed to secure the silver medal, despite facing tough competition from seasoned athletes like Danilo Fresnido, the Philippine national record holder in the event.

Adapting to the techniques of javelin throwing wasn’t easy, but my background as an amateur boxer and national kickboxing coach helped, as the hip movement required bore some resemblance to throwing a punch.

However, what truly captivated me were the stories of other participants, particularly individuals like 85-year-old Francisco Ramones, who defied age stereotypes by competing in the M85 100-meter race, and 77-year-old Rosalinda Ogsimer, who discovered her passion for running at the age of 65 and has since excelled in various sprint and long-distance events.

Supported by organizations like the Zen Institute, Nestle MILO, wrist_pod, Great Sierra Development Corporation, Masix Sports, Pocari Sweat, FilAmSports, Drolly’s, Energya, Penser, PSC, and Patafa, athletes like Ogsimer continue to inspire with their dedication and performance.

In this year’s championships, Ogsimer’s notable performance

DOGS are not just our pets; they are cherished members of our families. As responsible pet owners, we often seek to provide them with a balanced and nutritious diet. While meat and vegetables are commonly known to be part of a dog's diet, many owners wonder about the inclusion of fruits. Are they safe? Can dogs eat fruits?

Certain fruits are safe for dogs to consume, while others can be toxic to them. Since premium commercial diets are typically nutritionally balanced and complete, there is usually no need to incorporate fruits into your dog's diet. Though offering fruits as occasional treats can be an enjoyable addition.

Understanding Canine Nutrition:

Before diving into the specific fruits that dogs can eat, it is important to understand their nutritional needs.

“Dogs are primarily carnivores, but they are also known to consume plants in the wild. Their digestive systems have adapted to process a variety of foods, including fruits,” said Dr. Teresa Mitchell in “Can Dogs Eat Fruit?” published in the Just For Dogs website.

Safe Fruits for Dogs:

According to Dr. Mitchell the following are generally safe for dogs to eat:

1. Apples: Apple is a popular fruit that many dogs enjoy. It is rich in vitamins A and C, as well as fiber, which can aid in digestion. However, it is essential to remove the seeds and core, as they contain cyanide, which can be toxic to dogs.

2. Bananas: Bananas are packed with potassium, vitamin C, and vitamin B6, making them a nutritious treat for dogs. They are also easy to digest, making them an ideal choice for dogs with sensitive stomachs.

3. Blueberries: Blueberries are low in calories and high in antioxidants, making them an excellent choice for dogs. They can help boost the immune system and promote overall health.

4. Strawberries: Strawberries are another antioxidant-rich fruit that dogs can enjoy. They are high in fiber and vitamin C, but it is essential to remove the stems before feeding them to your dog.

5. Watermelon: Watermelon is a hydrating fruit that many dogs love. It is rich in vitamins A, B6, and C, as well as potassium. However, it is crucial to remove the seeds and rind, as they can cause digestive issues.

Other fruits include: · Honeydew · Mangoes · Oranges · Peaches · Pears

PETS

CAN DOGS EAT FRUITS?

· Pineapple · Tomatoes

Moderation is Key:

While many fruits are safe for dogs to eat, make sure to offer them in moderation. Too much fruit can lead to digestive upset and weight gain.

“Some fruits contain natural sugars that can be harmful to dogs in large quantities. Always consult with your veterinarian before introducing new foods into your dog's diet, especially if they have any underlying health conditions,” said Dr. Mitchell.

Be vigilant for common indicators of an unsettled stomach:

1. Vomiting 2. Diarrhea

3. Reduced appetite or loss of appetite

4. Lethargy

5. Depressive behavior

6. Signs of discomfort

7. Excessive lip-licking

8. Flatulence (gas)

Fruits to Avoid:

While there are plenty of fruits that dogs can enjoy, there are also some that are best avoided altogether. These fruits as Dr. Mitchell said include:

1. Grapes and raisins: Grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure in dogs, even in small amounts. Make sure to keep these fruits out of reach of your dog at all times.

2. Cherries: Cherries contain pits that can be a choking hazard for dogs. They also contain cyanide, which can be toxic.

3. Avocado: Avocado contains persin, which can

be toxic to dogs in large quantities.

4. Citrus fruits: Citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, and limes, contain citric acid, which can cause digestive upset in dogs. The peel and seeds can also be choking hazards.

5. Pits and seeds: As a general rule of thumb, always remove pits and seeds from fruits before feeding them to your dog. These can pose choking hazards and contain toxins that can be harmful.

How to Properly Ready Fruit

Before offering fruit to your dog, ensure it is cleaned thoroughly. Remove any leaves, stems, seeds, pits, or rinds. Slice the fruit into small, manageable pieces suitable for your dog's size, providing them with a modest portion. Avoid giving canned fruit in syrup due to its elevated sugar levels. You can offer fruit pieces as standalone treats or mash them and include them in your dog's regular meals. Keep in mind that fruit may pose a choking risk, particularly for smaller breeds, so supervise your dog closely during consumption.

Fruits can be a healthy and delicious addition to your dog's diet when offered in moderation and with caution. By sticking to safe options like apples, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and watermelon, you can provide your dog with essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants while avoiding toxic fruits like grapes, raisins, cherries, and citrus fruits, as well as pits and seeds. As always, consult with your veterinarian before making any significant changes to your dog's diet to ensure their health and safety. With proper care and attention, you can treat your furry friend to the occasional fruity snack while promoting their overall well-being.

UNDERSTANDING SPONDYLOSIS DEFORMANS IN DOGS

SPONDYLOSIS deformans, a common degenerative disorder affecting the spinal column of dogs, is prevalent in older canines. This condition, characterized by the presence of bony spurs or osteophytes along the vertebral bones, can have a significant impact on a dog's quality of life if not addressed.

What Is Spondylosis Deformans in Dogs?

An article titled "Spondylosis Deformans in Dogs" by veterinarians Barri J. Morrison, DVM, on PetMD, says that spondylosis deformans manifests as the formation of bony spurs along the underside and edges of the spinal vertebrae. These spurs can range from small growths to extensive bridges between adjacent vertebrae, leading to restricted movement and potential nerve compression. While this condition predominantly affects the lumbar vertebrae, it can occur anywhere along the spine.

According to Morrison, spondylosis

deformans primarily develops in large-breed dogs as they age, with boxers being the most commonly affected. However, it can also occur in dogs of all breeds and sizes, typically emerging around the age of 10. Clinical signs may include back pain, abnormal posture, reluctance to walk, and stiffness, among others.

Causes of Spondylosis Deformans in Dogs

Spondylosis deformans is largely associated with the natural aging process and degenerative changes in the intervertebral discs. As these discs deteriorate, the stability of the spinal joints diminishes, prompting the formation of bone spurs to reinforce weakened areas.

Additionally, Courtney Barnes, BSc, DVM, Tammy Hunter, DVM; and Cheryl Yuill, DVM, MSc, CVH, in their article, "Spondylosis Deformans in Dogs" on VCA Animal Hospital website, claim that repetitive microtrauma, major injuries, and genetic predispositions can contribute to the development of this condition.

Diagnosis and Evaluation

Diagnosing spondylosis deformans typically involves a comprehensive evaluation by a veterinarian, as outlined by Morrison. This process often includes a thorough physical examination, neurological and orthopedic assessments, and diagnostic imaging such as x-rays. Barnes et al. say that advanced imaging techniques like MRI or CT scans may be necessary to assess the extent of spinal involvement and identify potential nerve compression.

Treatment Approaches

Treatment strategies for spondylosis deformans aim to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and manage associated symptoms. In cases where dogs are asymptomatic, no specific treatment may be required. However, for those experiencing discomfort, conservative approaches such as pain medication, controlled exercise, and weight management are often recommended, says Morrison. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

(NSAIDs), along with physical therapy and acupuncture, can provide relief from pain and stiffness as Morrison suggests. In severe cases where bone spurs lead to significant neurologic deficits, Barnes et al. claim that surgical intervention may be necessary to remove the spurs and relieve spinal cord compression.

Prognosis and Long-Term Management

The prognosis for dogs with spondylosis deformans varies depending on the severity of symptoms and the effectiveness of treatment. While many dogs can lead fulfilling lives with appropriate management, the condition is progressive and may worsen over time. Regular veterinary check-ups are essential to monitor your dog's condition and adjust treatment as needed, says Morrison. Barnes et al. tell us that long-term management may include maintaining a healthy weight, providing soft bedding, and incorporating nutritional supplements to support joint health. By implementing

these measures and working closely with your veterinarian, you can help improve your dog's comfort and overall well-being.

Spondylosis deformans poses significant challenges for dogs particularly as they age. However, with early detection, appropriate treatment, and ongoing management, affected dogs can enjoy a good quality of life. By understanding the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options outlined in this article, you can better support your canine companion in their journey towards optimal spinal health. In summary, spondylosis deformans may be a common degenerative condition in dogs, but with timely intervention and attentive care, it does not have to define their lives.

CELEBRATE CULINARY HERITAGE THE KAPAMPANGAN WAY

PAMPANGA isn’t known as the “Culinary Capital of the Philippines” for nothing, with its rich and delicious traditions passed down through generations. Whether it’s the iconic sisig sizzling on a hot plate or the mouth-watering sweet tibuk-tibuk served on a banana leaf, Pampanga never disappoints.

To celebrate the Kapampangan cuisine, the local government held its annual “Manyaman Festival” that gathered Pampanga’s bests of the best dishes—a labor of love meticulously prepared to perfection.

Special Assistant to the Governor Angelina Blanco said the annual festival, held at

Megaworld’s Capital Town in San Fernando, Pampanga, is a celebration not just of the dishes but of the stories behind them as well.

“Our dishes are not just about delicious flavors – they tell stories of our ancestors, their love for family and community, and their ability to make the most out of what they had.

Classic Kapampangan dishes, such as those featured today, are not only mouth-watering, but they also showcase our creativity and resourcefulness,” said Blanco.

“The Manyaman Festival is a perfect venue to celebrate this culinary heritage which [is] composed of pieces of our history passed down from generation to generation – a testament to the passion of our people,” she added.

The festival featured dishes served in 22 towns of Pampanga, grouped into four districts.

For District 1, Angeles City, Magalang,

and Mabalacat City showcased the following dishes: Putung Babi (appetizer); Paku (salad); Sabo Bulanglang (soup); Sisig, Pindang Babi, and Bringhe (main dishes); and Tibuk-tibuk (dessert).

The towns of Sta. Meanwhile, District 3’s Bacolor featured Ambulang Dila, Tamales, and Putoseco; the City of San Fernando had Tsokolateng Batirul and Pindang Damulag; the town of Sta. Ana served Kilayin and Yema Palitaw; Mexico had Asado Matwa, San Nicolas Cookies, and Kalame Gandus; while Arayat showcased Kapit, Sapin-

FROM when we are in our darkest moments to when we celebrate our satisfying victories, one of the people who would always like to be by our side through thick and thin is our mother. Mothers want nothing more than to see their children be happy and healthy, often going out of their way to make sure that we have what we need even if it demands a lot of sacrifice from them.

As Mother’s Day is meant to be a celebration for the women in our lives who never falter in showering us with unconditional love and immeasurable care, here are six songs that serve as reminders of the loving presence of a mother in one’s life:

“Mapa” by SB19

A mother’s life is filled with many sacrifices for the ones they love. P-pop sensation SB19’s 2021 hit “Mapa,” perfectly captures this as its lyrics express how mothers (and also fathers) tend to sacrifice a lot for their children, resulting in them wanting nothing more than to be able to give back the love and kindness that they have received all their life.

“Nakikinig Ka Ba Sa Akin” by Ben&Ben

Sometimes, misunderstandings arise between a mother and her child that could lead to arguments where they fail to hear the other’s side. Folk-pop band Ben&Ben’s “Nakikinig Ka Ba Sa Akin” can paint a relatable picture of how despite all the

SIX SONGS THAT CAPTURE A MOTHER’S UNWAVERING LOVE

arguments, a mother’s love for their child would always lead them back to a point of making amends, no matter how long it may take.

“The Best Day (Taylor’s Version)” by Taylor Swift Compared to her pop ballads about romantic love, one of the singer-songwriter

Taylor Swift’s more heartfelt songs is “The Best Day (Taylor’s Version).” Originally released in 2008 as part of her Fearless album before being rereleased in 2021, the emotionally-charged song serves as Swift’s love letter to her mother Andrea Swift, detailing her fondness and appreciation for the woman who raised her to be the woman she is today.

“Awit Kay Inay” by Carol Banawa

While the classic 2000 hit’s title already shows what the song by Carol Banawa is about, it has yet to scratch the surface of the depth of its lyrics as it serves as another ode of utmost appreciation to a mother’s love and incessant sacrifice for their children.

“Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion Celine Dion’s melodic voice partnered with the song’s heartfelt lyrics made “Because You Loved Me” a soulful ballad that perfectly encapsulates a mother’s life-changing role in one’s life and the immense gratitude a person feels because of it. Dion’s powerful vocals instill the message that we are who we are because of the love we receive from our mothers.

“A Song for Mama” by Boyz II Men

This song is a tribute to mothers everywhere. It was released in 1997 and became the group’s last top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The lyrics express deep appreciation for a mother’s love, strength, and guidance. It talks about the sacrifices a mother makes and the unwavering support she offers her child throughout life.

For this Mother’s Day, take the time to listen to these songs and share the message they all bear to all the motherly figures in your life—that they are deeply appreciated for everything that they do for the sake of the ones they love.

NEW VIDEO SHOWS THE REALITIES OF NEW MOMS

MOTHERHOOD is definitely one of the hardest endeavors a woman can take in her life — no manual or guide can properly prepare you for raising children well. That’s why mothers must find the support that they can truly rely on. This is the message that PLDT Home gives moms in its new Mother’s Day video.

The video highlights the concept of “backstage moms,” or moms who support other mothers as they navigate their responsibilities, challenges, and learnings through motherhood.

The video opens in a studio set up, where Jaclyn, a mother, appears to be performing for her daughter Lottie. As if filming an actual show, Jaclyn plays the ‘perfect, gentle, and calm’ mom while trying her best to keep her head above water. But motherhood isn’t a show or performance. The story shifts

to Jaclyn who then loses her ‘perfect image’ and goes backstage to release her real emotions. That’s when her support system of fellow moms, including her own mother, comes in to show their support saying, “It’s okay to ask for help. We are here for you.”

The story ends with PLDT Home thoughtfully reminding moms that there will always be a community of parents – whether online or offline –that they can always rely on no matter what. It’s a timely reminder that when parenthood gets tough, it’s always okay

to turn to people who can reassure and empathize with them. With the right support and community, moms can get through anything together. Watch the video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=ye3PeVBY2Rs

FOUR WAYS TO GIVE MOM THE GIFT OF ‘TIME’

MOTHER’S Day isn’t just about gifts; it’s about cherishing our bond with mom and acknowledging her vital role.

Time is the most precious gift – time together, showing gratitude, and indulging in personal interests. Here are four meaningful ways to honor mom’s love, strength, and dedication this Mother’s Day.

Time to say “thank you” Amidourbusylives, weoftenforgettheendlesssacrificesourmothersmake.

This Mother’s Day, let’s pause to express our deep gratitude.Whether through a card, letter, or a simple text, acknowledging her efforts means the world.

Time to treat mom Moms balance numerous roles, often neglecting their own needs. This Mother’s Day, let’s urge Mom to take time for herself. Whether it’s a spa day, pursuing hobbies, or a café outing, prioritizing her relaxation can greatly benefit her well-being.

Time to embrace wellness together Mothers often prioritize family needs over their own, putting their health on hold.

THIS Mother’s Day, Shangri-La Plaza goes beyond the traditional celebration to recognize the unique coolness of every mom.

The Grand Atrium will be transformed into a charming Italian Piazza, complete with cobblestone floors and comfy seating. Moms can relax and enjoy delicious food from Shangri-La restaurants like Duck & Buvette (French) and Cibo (Italian), all served right at the Piazza. While at it, be sure to keep an eye on the big screen for announcements about upcoming events and happenings at Shang, giving mom and the family new things to look forward to. Create new memories at the atrium’s Portraits with Mom area. With every P1,000 purchase from any Shang store today, guests can enjoy a photo session from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mom can shine in her own spotlight while capturing moments perfect for her Facebook. Continue the festivities at the Flower Market, offering an array of beautiful blooms and custom bouquets. In the evening, head to the East Atrium for a special live performance by OPM pop-rock band Neocolours at 6:30. Keep the fun going with classic Filipino comfort food from Manam or pamper mom with a spa session at Travertine Longevity & Wellness.

LAC (Leader in Antioxidative Control), a top health supplement retailer in the Philippines, suggests a unique Mother’s Day celebration this year: promoting family wellness activities. Whether swimming, practicing yoga or enjoying a nature walk, these activities remind moms to prioritize their health and show how much their well-being matters.

Time to revitalize her youth

In our fast-paced world, mothers face stress that can speed up aging. LAC suggests using supplements to support overall well-being and slow aging. StemC, made from premium horse placenta and synergistic ingredients, aids cellular regeneration and physiological health. Developed in Japan, its potent blend promotes skin elasticity, vitality, and strength, helping mothers feel rejuvenated inside and out.

Additionally, incorporate supplements like LAC FullCal which contains a Calcium Magnesium ratio 2:1 for optimum absorption with co-nutrients such as Vitamin D3 and more. This convenient on-the-go melt-in-the-mouth powder for strong bones and teeth helps ensure optimal nourishment, supports healthy muscle function, and aids muscle contraction and relaxation, making the journey smoother for experienced moms.
