When asked about the bestdressed female star at the gala, Joshua picked popular Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza. He admired her elegant mint green gown designed by Ehrran Montoya, describing it as fabulous and elegant, yet not overly flashy.

During the event, Joshua and Barbie had a brief interaction at the Grand Marriott lobby. They exchanged greetings and planted a friendly kiss on each other's cheeks, showing a cordial relationship between the two.
Interestingly, in an earlier vlog interview with broadcast journalist Karen Davila, Barbie expressed her interest in collaborating with Joshua in the future, praising his acting skills.
To the surprise of many, Barbie chose to walk the red carpet without an escort, foregoing the company of her real-life boyfriend Jak Roberto or love team partner David Licauco Her decision garnered praise from fans as it made her stand out among the attendees.
A day after the GMA Gala, the actress wrote on her Twitter account, “What’s a girl going to do?
A diamond’s got to shine!”
Barbie also retweeted Joshua’s short clip interview and commented: “Tama ka naman diyan. Ha-ha-ha! Salamat! (heart emoji)”
As a response, Joshua also retweeted Barbie’s post and said in jest: “Pa-tip na lang po o pa-five star! Salamat po!
With their exchange of messages on their respective social media accounts, fans got tickled pink and this early, a screen collaboration will be most welcome.

Pops Fernandez is delighted to be hosting a new show on TV5, a drama anthology titled For the Love. She likes the concept, where she starts each episode by singing a particular song that serves as its theme.
However, the Concert Queen admits that she's still adjusting to some songs catering to the Gen-Z audience. While she can sing these songs, she needs to study them first, as they differ from the songs of her generation. Once she familiarizes herself with them, she can perform them gracefully.

Pops points out the differences between contemporary songs and those she sang during her younger years. The melodies and phrasing in today's songs are distinct, with shorter sentences and frequent transitions, requiring her to adapt to the new style. She also appreciates how expressive contemporary songs are, conveying emotions and telling stories effectively to the listeners. Pops is determined to learn and master these songs to deliver captivating performances in For the Love.
“One thing I also notice with contemporary songs, they’re more expressive with the feelings they want to convey to the listeners. They can really tell the story. So, I just have to make sure that I learn it more,” ends Pops.
